Maybe you should say what things you are looking for instead of posting a mini rant.

I agree, if you post what you are interested in you may draw the attention of others with the same interests.

wasn't really referring to interests.

uh, i'm not sure how to describe it

there are a lot of people who probably think we are friends but i really have no interest in 99% of them

i can feign social skills but what's the point. i don't want to be the leader of these ret*ds

i don't really know what i was hoping to achieve with this thread

i guess my initial question was: does anyone else feel like noone else is like them and for that reason you will be alone forever

Sounds like some of the people around here.

Feigning social skills is a skill in itself that can help you navigate a primarily social world. Whether you like it our not, the world is dominated by NTs and their rules affect your life. The "point" is that in NEED to feign social skills to get what you want if what you want in any way interacts with NTs. If you wish to live in complete isolation, then have at it. Screw social skills and move to some mountain in Alaska.

Wel you got a response if nothing else.

Hell yes. All the time. Even in this forum where there are people that are presumably 'just like me'.

Hell yes, SURE. It's kind of the point of being an aspie. The question is: How do you deal with it, how much does that feeling affect you, and what are your strategies against it?

Everybody needs to find their personal answers for that and I'm currently trying to find mine.

Hell yes ...

Actually, however, it is more like there are plenty of people here I believe are just like me (or that I am like them) ... and expecting no more from them than they can reasonably and safely expect from me now seems to be a great beginning point for ending my past aloneness.

We are fellows, not fellow victims.

I sometimes feel that way, and it's partly because my friends usually end up moving away from/betraying/forgetting about me. Plus, I generally just think that I can't be understood, and that I really want to be alone and I want people to just stop talking.

Do you know that even NTs feel like that, especially when they are introverts ?

I do not see your point really, you've insulted almost every one here by considering that our messages are "sh**" but the only thing you have to say is that you feel lonely and unique, just like everyone else ?

??? What do you mean you have nothing in common with anyone here? I was under the impression that we all felt this way, that's part of what makes us Aspies.

I used to feel that way until I discovered this place, now I feel there are a lot of people like me, just none where I live. And I for one have no problem with being alone forever. People suck.

I seem to be somewhat atypical, even for an aspie. So, yes.

That sounds kind of like the basic Apsie condition. If you have no problem with being alone, it is by far the easiest option, although a lifetime is very long.

Out of curiosity what were you expecting someone like yourself to post here, other than this thread?

You probably don't know anyone here in the real world, and your rant seems to be initiated by teenage hormones.

And your original question was still "am i the only AS person on this forum with nothing in common with anyone else. i read through pages of your sh** and nothing. (?)"

Are you sure you actually read much of the discussion board? Because, really, that sounds like almost every member of WrongPlanet.net.
