Berkley is a college town , and I guss the Now Generation tends to communicate via their perpetual laptop or txt mssgs , ifr I'd gotten to go to college when I sgould have/could have , 25/30 years ago , such towns had " message boards " then , but now ? ...
Other things I could get:
" medicinals " , like asprin , band-aids , , etc...
Renting aPO box ( non-USPS , because of the library ) of some kind , to make safe my library card...
Some sprt of bank account/Direct Deposit , if I can get at my funds ...
Underwear . For immediate clothes .
Frankly , if anyone's " care package "-inclined , if I were to get specific about " outside " clothes , and camping eqpt. , I would sound rather " little kid's before Santa " /greedy...
As far as " going to where it's cheaper " goes , for one , it would take all my money to go there ! !! !! !!
And to where ??????? And on what money ?
And , I do have some connections here in the " Yay " , who claim to at least be trying to solve some issues...

I haven't taken the time to read the whole thread but is there family you can go to like your parents or siblings or relatives? I am sure they can give you things you need until you find a place to live and get settled in.
