not everything can be resolved. Not having a resolution to something produces stress. It is good to have a stress site when things can't be resolved.

I strongly disagree.. while yes I and others do vent quite a bit here, I personally have gotten prompt and accurate answers to many questions I have had.. Believe me, I joined this site the day after being diagnosed and I had quite a few questions! This place has been a HUGE help to me!

This place is very useful to hear lots of personal opinions and experiences I do feel rather swamped by this forum as it seems so vast with all the different threads to wade through.

What issues were you hoping to resolve by coming here? If you give an indication of what problem[s] you are attempting to correct, you will likely get several responses with suggestions for addressing it/them. You'd still have to analyze them and decide which ones seem most likely to work for you, but it could give you some options you hadn't thought of on your own.

This site is where I currently get the bulk of my daily socialization. It's a relief to be able to talk to people who have problems similar to my own.

There is no cure, but you can use this site to find out how other people with AS cope with it, and you can adopt their methods as your own.

No cure, as far as I know you wont ever be "normal" but you can fake it or cope. I've gotten better over time. Practicing facial expressions, studying tones in speech, studying facial expressions. I still don't get most of them but it's better than never get them at all, as I used to.

This is a very useful site for me. I get to come to give and receive support. I also get to interact with a variety of people who express a variety of opinions. I would be lost without this site.

The discussion forum is too big for me, Threads disappear like cakes at a weight watchers meeting. If I miss one day then it's like starting as a newbie all over again.

On the main forum page click View My Posts. If you want to keep track of a thread without posting you can watch the individual thread which emails you when there is a new reply.

It's useful when you want replies so when you make a thread here, you are more likely to get replies because of lot of people here.

I think it's a great place to try to understand so many puzzles that have left me bewildered my whole life. I'll read something that someone posted and think, "Aha! That's what I've been doing as well" or "That has happened to me too!" I also like the opportunity to interact with people and exchange ideas and experiences.
