171NewYork,

Problem! KitKat is from Australia, and you've listed that as one of your least hot countries.

Also, we REALLY didn't need to know that you sleep naked.

There were 3 counselors from that country at my camp this year. 2 were really ugly. 1 was kinda hot, but the fact that she had the same last name as one of my shrinks made me not really care about her. And just because I said that most chicks from Australia were not doesn't mean all are!

Do you realize making generalizations of such nature will likely turn most women or people off really being interested in what you say if you keep doing that?

anyways, more stuff bout me. my oldest brother has full (or the normal or classic) autism, one sister has cerebral palsy (cause the docs stuffed up her birth), one brother died when he was only 9yrs old from Metachromatic Leukodystrophy in 1996  , um i play every brass instrument except for trombone and beat my music teacher in a state solo comp. in 1998 when i was only 15, im the only person in my family to be admitted into a psych ward and the only one who plays music regularly, and the last thing is that im trying to match my family tree (my dads side) to the irish oneill royal family who are also related to the windsors!

k that will do for now - im blushing now with that compliment  8O :? :P

I was born on April 4th, 1980. Last year, my birthday fell on 04/04/04.

Only a fraction of the population will ever have their birthday fall on a date in the same manner- Only those whose birthday is within the first 12 days of the month, who happen to be born on the same day of the month as the month of the year, and who happen to be alive at the time the corresponding year rolls around will have their birthday fall in this manner.

Other neat facts- The Idarado mine stands at the top of Red Mountain pass (Colorado) on one end- and the other end just outside telluride a dozen miles away. The Idarado is a consolidation of the old mines of the gold rush era, and consists of hundreds upon hundreds of miles of tunnels dug into the san juans. If you were to get lost in the mines, you would have little chance of finding your way out before you starved to death.

This area has tremendously harsh winters- it was not uncommon for miners living in the red mountain valley to traverse the mine by foot to spend a weekend of debauchery in Telluride.

Today, going from the top of Red Mountain pass to Telluride by car takes about 100 miles, as you must drive AROUND the mountain range, save for a few 4xe4 trails heading over the top! In bad weather, a person walking the mine on foot would stand a good chance of beating a person trying to drive by car.

WOAH im flabbergasted! and i thought i was smart lol! you must be a savant with calendar and maths abilities!

Jerry: It is more numerical than math.

i just try to go for the all round abilities lol.. why dont you have a website!

Jerry: I meant to get back to this thread sooner but forgot where it was. I can do other things but people made such a fuss about me when I was young that I avoided sharing it. That is probably why I have dragged my feet on getting a website, too.

i googled your name and wow you have books and everythign geez... such a famous person posting in a little aspie world forum lol i feel honoured! seriously

maybe i could plug my website now.. www.psychopanic.com .. well i may not be as smart as you mathematically, i do have atypical autism, schizophreniform disorder and used to have panic disorder. i have written bout when i was sick.. and some abilities i have... some .. not like you oh well too bad lol this is a definite first meeting with goliath and im david.

Jerry: Not hardly. We are all savants at being ourselves.

wow my dream is to have someone make a movie of my life too!

Jerry: The movie is a mixed blessing. It is a lot like winning a lottery, though with less money :) It just happened. I take more pride in the stuff I actually earned. Good luck is just that. My wife and I were just in the right place in the right time when a local paper decided to do a story about us and our support group.

I hope other movies get made for sure.

but it seems you are achieving that@ wow im only a 22yr old female from australia trying to change the world! pls reply!! ! i would have never have thought my birthdate was mathematically made to be an algorithm.. i guess you must be great at computer programming too.
get a webstie for yourself!! :P

Jerry: I might be good at programming but unfortunately, my first exposure to that was in 1965, when it was a real pain to do. Thanks for the reply but I envy you, Kitkat. I would love to see all of those cool Australian animals.

ok this will be my last post to this thread TheWhale, but if you can afford to come to australia, you can stay at my place lol!

i just cant programme - you have to think one step at a time - and it has to be the correct step as well. i cant think like that - i think in leaps and lots of steps - and trying matlab at uni has scarred me for life. im sure programming computers in the 60's must have been terribly primitive and mighty hard but i dont think anything has changed

In a visual basic class I took, the emeritus guy teaching it told our class about programming circa 1970.

You wrote your program by punching out holes into index cards that were read by a card reader. When you were done, you took it down to a room where the "computer" was and gave it to a technician to run through the machine. Depending on how long the que was, you could get your results back in a few hours or a couple of days, and that all depened upon whether or not your program was free of errors and bugs.

....and they used to draw a diagonal line across the top of the punch cards in biro so that you could put them all back in order if you dropped them...... Them were the days.....

Cripes!

Wish I had know about the diagonal line! Would of made life much simplier.

The techs were behind a glass wall. The computer was much too valuable to be open to us peons.

Long live the Aspie brain and its unique ability to understand concepts beyond normal thought. I really enjoy having Asperger's.
