Myth: The term Neurotypical makes sense. Does it mean: Non-Autistc?, Non-Asperger's? Anybody who doesn't have ASD? Is there truly a discrete line separating the 3 categories based on reality? Are the DSM accurate (represent reality)?

Probable: No clear demarcation as what constitutes Neurotypicals or ASDs, just guidelines based on a bunch of fallible human doctors/scientists getting together and agreeing on some useful and general guidelines often motivated by political, corporate and individua/social biases.

myth: NTs never get nervous in social situations
myth: all NTs have friends
myth: all NTs would rather associate with other people than spend time alone
myth: NTs are never victims of bullying
myth: all NTs don't care about aspies and their struggles
myth: all NTs have no problem obtaining and maintaining romantic relationships

NTs are happy
NTs are all different (in order to achieve this dream they all buy iPods & iPhones)
NTs live in the real life
NTs are natural (they act most of the time)
NTs can get stuff done
NTs understand the meaning of life

NTs bully people who are different and they all like gossip.

NTs aren't brutally honest

NTs don't unintentionally insult, offend, and be rude.

NTs don't have any problems

NTs are able to work and are not on disability

NTs can't fall for scams

NTs can't face workplace bullying

NTs can't face discrimination

Nts can help everything they do

NTs don't lack empathy

NTs aren't logical

Nt's enjoy being surrounded by people all the time, or hate to be alone.

Even NT's believe this. Many NT's are introverted, as myself, and extroverted NT's get annoyed. or think we're weird, when we don't want to hang out all the time, or go to parties in our free time. I'm feeling this right now...I'm on campus all day during the week, working and going to class. There are times when I need a break to get my energy back! I enjoy being with people, but it's exhausting socializing all the time...
