He spends all year, every year, fixating on one thing; he avoids any social interaction by keeping his activity secret and making sure no one sees him; he makes lists of all the kids in the world (enjoys organising and processing information); he's lived in the North Pole for his whole life (doesn't like change); and he delivers toys on a certain date every year (routine).

Clearly, Santa must be autistic!

And, yes, this is a joke thread :P

Wow, another thread about Santa! I haven't seen this before  Here's a guy who is so antisocial that he breaks into peoples houses in the middle of the night, just to avoid social interaction. He can't come in through the front door either, has to be the chimney.

He's on a very restricted diet-- milk and cookies. I hope nobody ever tells Santa to go GFCF... no more Santa.

It's a classic ritual...

I don't like to think that Santa is autistic.

With all the people that comment about my formally diagnosed son (who is adorable and well mannered) "there's nothing wrong with him. This 'autism' thing is just a myth." I like to keep fact and fiction well separated.

Santa is a myth (sorry little kids who might be reading this).

My son's autism is very real.

Regardless, even if Santa was real (autistic or not) read here what would actually happen due to the laws of physics:

We went over this in my government class. Santa isn't autistic, he just runs a Marxist collective of elves, complete with a full profit-sharing system. Either that or he's a robber baron who was "bribed with candy canes and cheap elf labor" as the penguins from Madagascar put it.

See how great American education is? And I go to a private school. LOL

Given the nature of Christmas as a secular holiday, I will go with robber baron. :D

Actually, Santa Claus is enslaved by the elves. They keep Mrs. Claus hostage to force him to do their bidding. They've been building a distribution system for hundreds of years and are close to implementing their plan. All those "toys" are have special electronics embedded in them that when activated will give them mind control powers. You don't really believe semiconductors were invented by humans, do you?

Just off the top of my head I'd go with crazy cult leader, due to location and secrecy, the populations is largely inbreed and stunted. The obsessive goal of Christmas is really what keeps the group going, that and fear of government regulation.

Every time a "Sanata has AS" thread is made... an elf dies. :(

Well then we should make some more. Who needs elves anyway? Maybe if we could get it to go viral, there would be so many threads they would ALL die and we could be done with Christmas forever.

He's making a list, checking it twice

(ok that's aspie...)

He knows when you are sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been good or bad...

(and that part makes him sound like a creepy voyeur more than anything else).
