Does anyone else find the music of Sigur Ros soothing? It makes me feel better regardless of the circumstances. I first discovered it when I was looking for music to put my sister to sleep. That was over four years ago. It has sense put two more sisters to sleep and calms down to of the three when they go into tantrum mode. Sigur Ros FTW!! !

I specifically searched for "Sigur Ros" on wrongplanet to see if somebody had mentioned them. I love Sigur Ros. I have been listening to Ara Batur non stop over the last few days. Their music is like nothing I have ever heard before. I recommend that anybody listen to them. The lyrics are in Icelandic, but whenever I hear one of their songs, I know exactly what it is supposed to be about.

I love them. I could listen to their music over and over. As you can tell by my name, they're my favourite band. :D

Their music has made me feel like living is no chore, that it's a great pleasure. Svefn-g-englar, let me tell you, I love that song. My favourite though, would have to be the Heima version of Glosoli. Every song on Heima is their best version of the song.

I recently bought the Heima version of Staralfur on vinyl. Records definitely sound better, and that is an amazing song.

I love Sigur Rós! I've been listening to them for years. Their music is very special. It's so dreamy. :)

Some of their lyrics are in Icelandic, but many of them are in Hopelandic, which is a made up language that Sigur Rós want people to hear their own meanings out of, which I think is cool. :D

I was actually wondering earlier today whether you were Icelandic, because of your name. It's a pretty common Icelandic nickname. It didn't occur to me that it was because of Sigur Rós' Jónsi.

My favorite songs are Ný batterí and Flugufrelsarinn from Ágætis byrjun.

I have a huge interest in Iceland and am learning Icelandic and like to listen to Icelandic music but I don't care much for Sigur Rós.

I've only heard a little of their stuff, but I thought it was very interesting and atmospheric.
