One thing that's really annoying is when a store is being built nearby and the sign in front of the construction site says "coming soon," and three years later, it's still not finished. Soon is such a vague term. It has no meaning in that context. I congratulate Target. A Target Supercenter is being built nearby. There's a sign in front of it featuring the exact date it will open which is later this summer. I am going to be monitoring the situation, making extra sure this supercenter opens when the sign in front says it will. I will be annoyed if it doesn't.

We are always joking about this in my family.

They were building a bowling alley near my house and they had a sign that said "Coming Spring 2007". They had barely, if at all, started building it in 2007! It opened in Fall 2009, so even when they specify a date, this can still happen.

Blame their lesbianism on "developmental delays".

Keep turning the air conditioner down in our shared apartment. It's April in freaking Texas and I need my flannel pajama pants. Oh, and then there will be the bill...

If you really want to annoy someone with autism park the good high definition flat screen television in your bedroom and park the crummy big butt analog low definition television in your living room. And make that autistic person watch that crummy stroboscopic flickering old fashion television that makes the picture bob up and down and where you can see the black scan lines like you are trying to watch television through a screen door or a set of venetian blinds. And what is really annoying about a crummy analog television is that those black scan lines cut through and slice the actors every time there is movement. Thank God for high definition policemen who invented modern day flat panel computer and television screens that put an end to this annoying problem.

Be even more ignorant than anyone ever would have thought possible.

Tell them they need to get out more. Then when they call you up and invite you out, always tell them you're too busy.

Keep turning the air conditioner UP in our shared apartment. :) I'm sensitive to the cold.

Post an online "How autistic are you?" quiz to a message board and post your results, then reflect on what the results mean. (Someone just linked me to a quiz based on reading people's facial expressions from black-and-white pictures, claiming it's an "Autism test")

I suppose I wasn't clear on this one. :P I'm with you- cold sensitive to the max! So I suppose I should say that it annoys me when my roommate keeps turning the TEMPERATURE down... :)

Set the thermostat upstairs to 80 degrees on heat and leave it like that for a week, and then wonder why it's so hot upstairs.

Then, when the thermostat is changed to something reasonable, turn the heater back on (because we really need it on when ITS ALREADY FRICKING 80+ OUTSIDE!)

This has been happening all week. I just set it to 68, lets see how long it takes for it to go back to almost 90 in this room (extra heat added from the computers up here already).

ooh, Ice Man up there is clearly NOT with us on this one.

I usually like the heat at around 73 indoors, because indoors gets stuffy; except for my room which should be 68 since I sleep with a comforter and can't NOT sleep with one. Outdoors anything between 60 and 85 is alright with me.

I also like sitting next to the space heater until it reads 80. I don't like being 80 degrees all the time, but I'd rather be cooling down than heating up.

Ask them why they dont like certain songs, when you tell them you're pitch-sensitive, get that "you're joking" look

Constantly get blackmailed for their special interest: call them "anime freak" when you see their manga collection, purposefully mispronounce caracters names- My favorite character's name is Gaara, its pronounced "gara" but my dad is ALWAYS inunciating the second "a" in his name just to piss me off!

Telling really sick jokes can be effective to someone...especially when they aim it towards someone with AS....which makes me really angry that I wish I could really beat the crap out of them.
