No, unless I'm a passenger in a car/bus and try to read something while it's moving.
Instant nausea, dizziness and blurred vision. :eew:

I'm not sure which answer to give to the poll. Usually i'm not prone to motion sickness, because i can ride rollercoasters and amusement park rides and feel fine(i love them!) and don't get car sick, but i did get seasick one time. This was a few weeks ago when i went on a boat with the coast guard to see them release six rescued sea turtles. The water was really choppy on the way out to the gulf stream(and it was over 40 miles out, and then over 40 miles back.. plus it was a coast guard cutter, not a huge ship, so you could really feel the waves), so i got very seasick and threw up. On the way back when we aren't going against the waves as much i was fine.

I have had motion sickness on small boats (e.g. small dive boats). If I can see out the window, I have no problems with cars. I haven't gotten sick on a plane, at least not yet, though I've flown a little Cessna 152 (single engine two seater) through some gusty winds
Most amusement rides, including all roller coasters, I have no problems with, but the insane "spin and puke" rides (such as teacups when riders face each other) and some motion motion simulators (notably the new Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride at Universal) make me nauseous.

I get motion sick if I've just ate or if I look at an electronic screen. I can read in a car, but I can't read a kindle.

Can't read in a moving car, occassional mild seasickness. Good everywhere else.

Yes, I can get really car sick. That's why I ride a motorcycle instead.

I got motion sickness once when I was little on a teacup ride, but other than that I've never had a problem with it...

I love movement, the faster the better... I think that's why I like roller coasters, you can get a feeling of pure speed that you can't easily get in a car or on a boat.

I was car sick as a kid frequently (Stop!, I vomit :) ). I could not stand looking backwards, and even now it's a bit disturbing to me.

I like the feel of speed, perhaps it is one cause that I like cycling, no windscreen, quiet, totally free, I like it. :)

Motion sickness is generally triggered by a disconnect in what the inner ear says is happening and what the other senses are indicating.

Riding in the back seat, or trying to read while someone else drives...particularly on a twisting road...is a common trigger for AS and NT people.

I would suspect that if you are hyper-sensitive to motion, you might be more prone to motion sickness.

I do not think I have motion sickness but I do feel nauseas and sick and elevator rides, and sometime I get a spur of nausea from tap water.

Its been a long time since getting carsick or anything similar in a boat or plane. Some of it seems to be more than just the motion and includes odors. If its got the 'new car smell' I abhor, I just might get sick if I don't get enough moving air, same with some other odors associated with rotting fish, etc. I'm histamine sensitive.

I used to get terribly carsick when I was younger. I was an obsessive reader, and would read to entertain myself on long car rides. It made me sick, but that didn't stop me from doing it. I never got sick on amusement park rides as a kid. Now, I couldn't stomach such rides.

I got motion-sickness pretty bad as a kid sometimes. I kind of outgrew it in my teens but I still feel queasy if I'm riding down & up hills alot or if it's fast driving with lots of sudden stops. I've asked a couple docs to prescribe me a med to take as needed for traveling at different times & they both prescribed Meclizine

I now do and commonly, but as a young child I couldn't seem to even get dizzy.
