Tomorrow I have an appointment with a psychologist. Upon reading more about AS, I am pretty sure that I do have it. I would like to have an official diagnosis though. How should I bring it up with her? What questions might she ask me? How should I explain my reasoning?

When I first met with a psychologist about AS, I told him that I had done some research online and that what I had found led me to believe I had AS. I thought that there was enough evidence to make it worth getting checked out by a professional.

I don't remember all of the questions. A lot of it was about how I relate to others my own age and older, how I approached academics (do I do well in all subjects or just the ones I like?), if I have obsessions, and that sort of thing. Just be yourself and if she is any good as a psychologist, it will be pretty easy to talk about.
