I just turned 25, but I look like I'm 16 (minus the baby fat I had back then). High school boys still bug me when I'm out and about. I tell myself that I can't be the only one who wears makeup to make themself look older.

I have often been mistaken for looking 10 years younger than I really am.

On the other hand, I know of one Aspie who looks 5-10 years older than he may actually be... and acts much more mature.

It maye be a toss up, but I will have to read this more completely later to see what the trend is. This would have made a good poll.

I am almost 31 and still look almost the same as I did in college. I still get carded on the rare occasions I drink. I don't mind at this point because I am probably better off dating girls a bit younger because of my limited dating experience.

I'm 35 and I don't really know how old I look to other people, but generally speaking they always think I'm younger. And I'm now at an age where I appreciate that. :P I was told the other day that I couldn't possibly have children, that I was way too young for that. I have a 10 year old!

I am 20 and apparently look younger, (I sometimes get asked my ID for 16 y&o movies) but my friend who has many asd traits once was told he looked 35 and foreign while he is also 20 and lived in the UK his whole life.

When I was a kid, people thought that I looked too old to be a kid. Now, people think that I look too young to be a teen.
(By the way, I know an Aspie who seems at least 10 years younger than his acutal age despite having a mustache.)

Talk in a deep voice lol. I look really young but i never have problems in shops et cetera because of my voice and body language. P.s, this might not be effective advice for females.

When I was 12, I looked about 16, but I stayed looking that age for a long time. I still look much younger than my age. Every so often, someone says something to confirm this. I was speaking with one of the mums when our kids were in a class and we discovered we were at the same uni. She asked what school I went to and then said, 'You'll probably know X'. I asked what age she was and worked out that I was finishing uni when the girl was just starting secondary school. The mum was really taken aback. Then on Saturday, we were at a museum and there was a fun 70s quiz. The guy running it said to us, 'You two won't remember this, you probably weren't even born then'. My husband is 43, NT with many traits. I suspect the guy was younger than him.

People always expect me to be younger than I am. It could be that I'm quite small, and having almost no facial expression most of the time means I don't have many lines on my face. Or it could be that I don't always act my age, and I get along better with people younger than me. I don't know, but I'm not complaining about it :)

Same as many girls (women? no right sorry: girls) said here: I looked older as a child and seemed mature for my age, also, I was quite tall. From 10 to 25, people assumed I was around 15.
I had my first child at 23 and used to get a lot of diapproving looks in the streets, until he turned 4 or 5 and people started assuming he was my little brother.
Now I'm 33, I look younger but I couldn't say how old people think I am......although I went in to check the prices for driver's licences the other day and the woman asked me " but are you 18 yet?" hum yes ma'am.

I don't think every single Aspie looks younger. I know a boy with Autism and he looks older than his age, and everyone thinks that. I am 21 but look about 15, but if my breasts were a bit bigger and I styled up my hair and put a bit of colour onto my cheeks, I think I would look my age or older.

It's not just Aspies - I have a friend with moderate learning difficulties and she looks about 16 when she's really 22. Also I've met 2 sisters who had Down's Syndrome, they were both 19 but literally looked about 10 (probably because they were small and acted like they were 10).

When I was younger I had to carry around a birth certificate because no one believed I was as young as I was because I looked so much older. I was close to 6 feet tall in elementary school.

Now I'm 47 and people think I'm in my early to mid 30s.

I don't know about how old I look. When I was a teenager I always had people think I was older, probably because I developed early and dressed sexy. Now I don't know about looks but I have had people tell me I act younger than I am.

My mother has had people think she was younger than she is but I don't know if they really think that or are just trying to be nice. When they find out she has a kid my age they act surprised and like she isn't old enough to.

I hate the way I look and I'm not even sure why. I think the only thing I like is my long hair and it needs trimming.

well if i saw you in the street and i was asked by someone to predict your age, i would say you look about 48 or so years old.

i am not a good judge of age.
