happy to help out if needed- ok I know I havent been around much lately but I've been here a very long time! Im probably best suited to some sort of admin

Considering the fact that you have UID 4, I'd say you were the first normal user of wrongplanet! I am UID 3 and we had some test accounts so you can definitely help.

Alex, does rank determine who gets the jobs?

I have moderated (counting quickly) three dairy goat forums before so I do have some experience. (edited to add) Actually, I owned two of the sites. The other one was where I had been asked to merge with a larger forum, but I basically had sole control and admin over the goat forum.(/edit) My approach tends to be very hands off unless absolutely necessary. I do understand the difficulties of moderating enough but not too much.

If you still need people let me know and perhaps I can be of assistance in one fashion or another. I think this is a wonderful site.

Lost me there! A board for reasonable decent people shouldn't need lots of admin, and in fact should be auto-regulated? As for support, driveldriveldrivel....

Same here, only i also have Humans as favorite enemy (This does not include myself, as i am an elf...)

Cool. I'm a tall hobbit (5'5"). I don't trust humans either.

I am willing to help. I moderated an Aspie forum for a little while (the owner of the forum-- well, we won't go into that. But let it suffice to say it was a broken friendship reason for leaving and not the consistency/quality of work).

I don't know a lot about comps. But I am on here a lot and I think that would be one thing in my favor.

Would like to help in any way possible.

We already talked on IRC about this. I know the HTML and CSS, some PHP and MySQL. I like writing myself, so maybe I could help out there too.

I would be willing to write articles if you still need that. I have a BA in English Writing Arts and a PhD in psychology. My therapist tells me I have a gift for writing.
Would that do for qualifications?
