I myself love the word Ditto, because of it's meaning and what it soulds like out loud. I find it a very interesting word. As for sounds, boom would be my all time favorite.
It sounds silly, but I want to see what others like, just to be sure I'm not the only silly one on here. :)

I love the cheesy sound effects from the old red alert games. The explosions actually sound like KABOOM. Maybe I should try uploading the sfx file.

Here it is.

I love the word "cat", not just because I like the animal, but because I love the sound of that word!

I have a lot of favorite "animal" noises that I make. :D I'll say them over and over because I like the way they sound.

I also like other words that are simple fun to say:
Whee!
Kweh! (chocobo noise)
Yay!
Vroom!
Boom!

As for favorite words, I tend to like names, actually... particularly ones that have interesting spellings vs the way they sound.

Don't take as flattering, most English words and names. :D

Irascible, Impetuosity, Conspicuous, Conceal, Implore, Despise, Detest, Docile, my memory is the limit.

John, Jonathan, Jack, Charley, Susan, Rose, Maryann, etc.
