I loved it. My favorite was the one with the one character thinking his companion smelled like pepperoni.

I'll be showing this to my kiddo today she's been having a hard time understanding what it means when Mom says I have autism. : ) I love the perfect fitting box, exactly what happened to me. Depression box: yea this kind of fits. Physiologically disturbed box: grr, well sometimes... but no. ADHD box: Nope. ADS box: Yes! I feel like Cinderella!... without the insipid prince!

If you get the bug do some more please : )

You should do a weekly cartoon in a paper or something. Raise awareness in a fun way!

Hey Greenturtle,

Thanks for making this. I really appreciate how you made it so simple to explain. I'm new to this site, and only began to suspect I was an Aspie in the last six months and got the diagnosis. I think you should present this to the public school system. It'd be great for young children to better understand Aspies and to leave them alone and avoid bullying, and to see bullying Aspies is no different from racial, sexual, religious, or any other kind of bigotry out there. Just a thought, I know I would have appreciated something like this when I was in school.

I noticed before you had mentioned having no right calling yourself an Aspie and that people were giving you crap because you were self-diagnosed. I don't know if that's still an issue or not, but there are many psychiatrists/psychologists who specialize in diagnosing Asperger's. I see you're in Philly, I know a specialist in the DC area (like three hours away) who will talk to you for a half hour and let you know if you have it or not, and will skip the formalities of testing and all the $$$ involved in that. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks again.

Wow dude!
You should pursue this type of communication as a career. Perfectly condensed explanation, nothing but the 'raw facts' left, which brilliantly is explaining it. I'm now running down to have my wife read your cartoon, telling her; That's why ...!

If I could explain my business to others the way you explained me to me, I'd already be a very, very rich man !

So inspiring. Guess the best way to describe anything is always in the simplest language. Nice job Greenturtle!

As work-family researcher conducting research on how parents of children with autism manage their various demands, this is extremely helpful.
