If it's something I'm interested in, why change from something that works?

I'm not completely disinterested to change, but I don't like changing for the sake of change too much. My brain is at ease without the constant switching and such......

I like simple work. It's the reason I was able to hold down a job in a retail store for nine months. Someone comes to the register, you ring up their items. You go to the back room, get a box of merchandise, and stock the shelves with it. Simple. But then it was also repetitive, so I guess the answer is yes.

No, it drives me crazy. I like change within the same structure.

I love repetitive work that other people seem to find so boring. I have always loved repetition.

I adore repetition and find it soothing.

It depends on my mood, I can enjoy repetitive work as it allows me to simply space out and go into my own mind without any distractions, but there will invariably be someone whining which just starts to irritate me...

Mindless repetitive work doesn't really bother me, because then I can use my mind freely and think about whatever I want while I'm doing whatever task. But if I have to, for example, solve 100 algebraic equations, that starts to bother me after about the 5th one.

I'm ok with repetitive work as long as it involves some sort of intellectual stimulation. Doing a set of challenging math problems can be very interesting to me (I love math), but putting papers into different stacks or something is not.

EDIT: HAHA I'm exactly the opposite of the previous poster!

I love math too, but I like it to be challenging. I get no satisfaction from doing basic math in my head. I would rather spend a whole day working on one big complex problem that no one else can figure out.

I love repetitive work. I don't get bored of it. I also know what's expected of me each day that I go into work. I also collect empty beverage containers because that's also repetitive. :)

Yes and no. I like a set group of things to do that doesn't change, but I don't think I could stick with just ONE task without getting bored. Even then, I'd want change every now and then to keep things from getting too boring.
