I hate it. I take showers but I always find it an unnecessary chore.

The only reason I don't like washing my hair is because after I do it gets poofy, like a big afro. Can't stand greasy hair either though, can't win for losing- so to speak.

I hate getting wet too.. especially if I'll be cold. I can NOT swim. I guess I avoid washing my hair sometimes, but once I start showering I abhor the thought of not being perfectly clean.

For the kind of hair I have I think I tolerate washing pretty well. My hair is thick, long (down to my tailbone) and oily. Washing it takes about 25 minutes each time (I lather up 3 times). I wrap it in a custom made super long hair towel for a while, then air dry. The drying takes about 4 hours in summer and 6 - 8 hours in winter.

Sometimes I'm not sure why I'd put up with that, it must be that I collect hairsticks. Although to be honest I always do everything slowly. Back when I had shoulder length hair it took me 20 minutes, too. At least I don't spend time blow drying or styling it, or I might as well stay in the bathroom all day.

I hate showering and I hate washing my hair.

Funny thing is, though, once I'm finally in the shower, I don't want to get out.

My hair sucks, though...it retains water like a sponge, so it can take an entire day to dry. For that reason, I only wash it every two weeks. The result seems to be a reduction in the amount of oil my scalp produces, so since I've been able to do that, my hair hasn't gotten greasy nearly as fast as back when my mom would force me to wash it every day.

I hate washing my hair because it takes too long and also because my arms get tired quickly. My hair is naturally greasy and for years, my family would always get angry and complain about how I don't know how to take care of myself and that I'm just being lazy. I'm not being lazy and I can take care of myself. I'm only bad at washing my hair because my arms get tired so easily. Not my problem. There only some days where my hair doesn't look greasy because my arms weren't tired that day. So yeah. Hair washing is tiring and annoying.

I used to not like washing it as a kid but I HATED having haircuts then. Washing my hair was sort of a trade off because my hair would get messy & itchy as it got longer so I needed to wash more often to keep things in check. Nowadays I wash my hair whenever I shower & I get it cut after I start having to comb it abit. I don't hate haircuts now but I don't like paying for them & it can be kind of hard to plan a time to go to the mall & get it especially since the place that was close by closed down due to that mall closing(apartments are being built there for people with low income). I get my hair cut very short so I'd get more of my monies & times worth by not having to get it cut again as soon. I need haircuts more often than I used to because it gets messy due to the way I'm losing it(male-pattern baldness) & I also have to wash it more often due to my hair itching cuz of the Rogaine I put on cuz I'm trying to keep the hair I have.

I wouldn't say I hate washing my hair but being the fact I'm black I don't exactly make it a habit of washing my hair ever day. I do find it to be quiet troublesome though because after I wash my hair and do the deep conditioner I have to spend 30 min de tangling that way I can twist it up for a more defined curl pattern. I only wash my hair once a week as a result.

I hate washing my hair but I love having clean hair. The process is such a huge chore. Its long, so after every washing hairs come out and after I put moisturizing lotion on my body, the loose hairs get stuck in the lotion and it feels like something is creeping on my skin. Makes me want to shave my head so badly.

Yes but only because I have chronic hives and showering makes it worse. I can't tolerate greasy hair either due to sensory issues so I keep my hair cut really short.
