4) People with ADHD

That sentence is not compatible with 4). People with ADHD are not neurotypical.

Far from it.

Let me clarify, by "neurotypical", I mean people who don't have autism nor aspergers.

This has not caused significant problems, other than an obsessive worry about it degenerating into a worse condition.

Do you clearly see the problem here? Obsessive anxiety over something that, so far has not been significant, and has not developed into " schizophrenia," schizotypal, etc. When looking at this way, it appears that anxiety/ or worry about something that has not manifested itself is the 'huge problem,' other than the problem itself?

Do you see the mechanism?

Ah, before I read Mdyar's post just now, I wanted to tell you - swbluto - to stop placing too much meaning in what you think and how you think you think and to start getting serious about thinking about how you think. Because the odd thing isn't the content of your posts so much but the very way you knowingly decide or just happen to spend your time on these things.

Perhaps it isn't that the finished product called your "thought" is particularly remarkable. A unique thought process can be unlike the thought processes of most people, yet can be fully capable of producing the same common and mundane results/thoughts.

And whatever you think you are doing, I can't get rid of that irking feeling that you are like that (and that you're a... small soft rabbit?).

Who said I hated Wrong Planet? I think you ought to read my posts more closely, next time.

Here's my intent: IS WRONG PLANET A BEACON FOR MISANTHROPISTS?

We already know it attracts aspies and autistics. Now, what about misanthropists?

It's obvious there's a group of people on Wrong Planet who haven't been diagnosed with autism or aspergers who are actually NTs, and I'm trying to characterize the motivations and characteristics of these NTs who are attracted here.

So far, I'm thinking there are:

1) hypochondriacs
2) misanthropists
3) highly unpopular weirdos
4) People with ADHD
5) People with communication disorders
6) Highly gifted individuals
7) NTs who have cognitive similarities to aspies ("Aspie-like NTs")
(There are possibly still more)

And this thread is exploring the existence of the number 2 subgroup, misanthropists.

Well gee, swbluto, you got me there! I have been classified as "gifted", I am diagnosed with ADHD as well as AS, and my communication with regard to emotional issues sucks a$$, so you got me on three of the above, AND I have AS!

I really wish you would stop armchair-diagnosing members here. If you want to do so with regard to yourself, you're welcome to it, but when it extends to others it is beyond irritating. Members have been recently asked not to call each other trolls, so I will play by the rules and assume you're doing this for some other reason, but whatever the reason, I do wish you'd cut it out.

We can't hate NTs - we have to feel sorry for them!

Remember they are suffering in their own right from Neurotypicality Syndrome

You got me. I'm a dysfunctional clone of all those normals out there. A small soft rabbit with an ostracizing white spot amongst the rabbits in the rabbit den. There's nothing special or unique that's of any significance about me, *tears*.

There's a difference between arm-chair diagnosing individuals and conducting anthropological studies on a sub-population. This thread is far from being guilty of the former.

The only people I hate is people who treat me and the people I care about like garbage, whether they are NT or not.

LOL...the person who made that video was *obviously* a bozo, because he or she came to the conclusion that we on WP are *all* haters, based on some posts which may very well have been taken out of context (ie, they could have been sarcasm or jokes or in the context of another discussion where they wouldn't mean what they appear to mean). To take that error a step further and make a hate video directed at WP members is way out there in bozo-land!

Funny that you're wasting your time with this.

Starting a discussion combining autism with hatred.

I have seen your generally simplified combinations before...

Why are you wasting your time?

I left your post there to show that you are indeed armchair-diagnosing. You're saying some members here on WP are "hypochondriacs", some are "misanthropists", etc, without a shred of proof or even evidence. And "conducting anthropological studies"??? Give me a break! Anthropological studies use scientific method, not totally bogus YouTube videos! *bites tongue*
