Especially the end when we find Stan still has that bottle of alcohol and sneaks drinks from it. That just... WTF???

I bet that's going to be a plot for the next episode, or perhaps the one after.

I'm not sure making a guy eat his own parents falls under the definition of Asperger's! Definite sociopath.

Black-and-white thinking? That guy had been very cruel to poor Eric, selling him his pubes and then sending him off on a wild goose chase every time he tried to get his money back. Hell hath no fury like a Cartman scorned.

Still doesn't justify having the guy's parents offed, mind you. ;)

Yes, this episode really wasn't about Asperger's in any meaningful sense - it was all about The Matrix and Cartman and Stan.

If some of you haven't heard this, I quite like this:

That's Cartman, alright.

I wonder if it's going to be like the tourettes episode, where Cartman tries to exploit a real condition for his benefit, until it eventually begins to overtake him...

I'm never offend by south park. I'd feel super special if the creators took the time to insult me (^_^). Anyway I'd love to see some south park Aspies, I hope they'll be as funny as Gingers.

I'm surprised nobody thought Kenny would be the likely candidate.

I watched the episode with a group of cousins and family, none of whom actually know I have AS, so they were a little confused by the fact that I was rolling on the floor laughing. The whole matrix/cynic part killed me; my GF is constantly annoyed with me picking apart 99% of music, shows and movies she's interested in, but that's not my fault, it's all $h1t, lol.

I was laughing pretty hard too. I don't think they really made made fun of us that much just the name of the disorder, and the suspected cause. I like how the "Aspies" were more or less alcoholics and that they see the world as $h1t. I can totally agree with that. When I was in high school I did drink underage. Of course I got it all out of my system very young so now I honestly don't feel compelled to be an alcoholic.

It's funny but they actually do have a point.

No purpose serves no purpose so it's s**t.

Go find something that isn't s**t and commit to that!

That about sums the whole Aspergers thing up, no more no less.

Life is only about the little things and nothing else matters enough, search for a deeper meaning and you will be meant.

It's a shame this wasn't made clear to me at an earlier age or else I would have reacted in a different way although maybe there is still time!

Pavlov used a bell to call the dogs to their food and, after a few repetitions, the dogs started to salivate in response to the bell.
Source: Wikipedia

Some have other ways of learning and seeing things so they should know better but shouldn't feel better than the rest because they are not, pure logically adapting seems like the only solution because it prevents solitude and isolation. Feeling special about yourself doesn't help in the long run.
(see DSM IV TR etc. for the indexation of how not to behave if you want to appear as normal as all the others who have an equally hard existence acting as such cooping with all the s**t as known in modern society nowadays )

The decision is yours to make but arguing on forums like these won't change a thing accept giving you the false impression that you aren't alone.

And that's about as sh***y as it's gets when committed to something as easy and boring as the internet. All knowledge is available but no wisdom is present because this is accumulated only by experience and old age and then it ends and it's over.

End of story...

Are you satisfied?
