The truth is I'm just confused.
There are things; I don't know if they're real
and my mind tells me what if I've made it all up?
It takes faith to cling to something only felt with your heart.

How do other people see the world?
We're all so different,
but sometimes I think... maybe too so for me;
Is there such a thing?

There is a hollowness waiting to be filled by God's love
and all the while
I'm wishing on a star I cannot see,
I'm praying to something only my spirit yearns to hug
and I'm crying
and kicking
and now I'm rocking myself,
because lots of this world-
it seems too much for my mind.

I'm not a failure.
I'm beautiful.
And if I don't understand?
Look - hey there - you! Yes you
who says I'm weird.
I ask you
why I would be this way
if I didn't have a purpose;
if i wasn't destined to do some good?

God made me this way,
and so he loves me this way.
And if I fail?
It doesn't matter, so long as I'm not too afraid to try.
