Come on now - females, go take the test!

http://eqsq.com/eq-sq-tests/

I'm a female, and artistic one at that

EQ 23 / SQ 109 :-D

Not many aspie females in the control groups, huh?

That "0%" is rounded to the nearest 1%, meaning that less than 0.5% of females (1 in 200) are extreme systemisers. Checking in with 38 and 129 here.

The first test (BAPQ) is extremely annoying because that web site wants you to sign up for it in order to get the results. Grrrrrrrr! I hate sites like that. They trick people so that they can artificially inflate membership numbers.
That link should be removed.
I consider that to be spam of sorts.

Results from the other tests:

AQ:46

EQ:7
SQ:125
Extreme sys

EIQ: 47/100

HSP:24/27

eyes:24

Your Aspie score: 172 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 35 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie
(makes sense, I have been professionally diagnosed)

The only area where I am not stereotypically Aspie/autistic is that I tend to remember faces really well. Otherwise I'm about as AS as they get.

BAP Test:
116 aloof, 99 rigid, 99 pragmatic
Ok, this makes sense to me.

AQ Test:
46
I didn't think my score would be this high.

EQ Test:
6
I thought I was empathetic. I'm good at understanding human psychology, and at perceiving and fixing emotional problems in others. I guess this isn't the same as being empathetic.

SQ Test:
80
I score like a man. Maybe this is why I get along with men better.

EIQ:
63
55 on retake (I was hoping it would improve. Oh well.)
I'm not completely emotionally disabled.

HSP:
19
I saw this coming.

Mind in the Eyes Test:
30
This makes sense. I have an intense fascination with eyes. As a child, my best friend emphasized communicating with microexpressions in the eyes instead of words. I still find it uncomfortable to look at a stranger's eyes, or the eyes of people I dislike. I sometimes stare at the eyes of people I'm curious of to the point that they get uncomfortable.

Face Blindness Test:
24%
I expected this. Regulars at the store I work in look completely unfamiliar to me. I learn to recognize their haircuts and style of dress, eventually. Certain people are very easy for me to recognize, though- especially those I've formed emotional attachments to.

Aspie Score: 141/200
Neurotypical Score: 61/200
I'm a very neurotypical AND a very Aspie hunter. Slightly neurotypical perception, but completely aspie everything else.

I'm not a diagnosed Aspie, though it's been suggested to me that I am. Some of these tests are in line with that. I wonder if I should get a formal evaluation.

As suspected I am right on the cusp in many of these tests... it figures.

AQ = 32

EIQ = 57 (This test nearly killed me. It reminded me of every "girl emergency" unpleasant phone conversation I've ever had with a friend at 2am against my will.)

Emotional Identification, Perception, and Expression

You appear to have at least some basic skill when it comes to identifying, perceiving and expressing emotions in yourself and others. However, there is still a great deal of room to improve on this core ability. Review the results below for further information in order to identify where improvement is recommended. By improving your skills in this area of emotional intelligence, you will be in a better position to read others, understand how they feel, and effectively identify your own emotions. These skills form the basis of your ability to relate to others as well as your ability to understand yourself.

Face blindness test = 98% correct

This was surprising to me, because I outscored most NT's, even though I have a very hard time remembering faces. It took me until age seven to be able to tell my uncles apart (who were ten years apart in age, and whom I saw on a weekly basis). I didn't even recognize my best friend in high school because she plucked her eyebrows and dyed her hair before the first day of school (she was talking to me for 5 minutes before I placed her familiar voice). I have to wonder if this goes to show how little eye contact I give people usually.

Autistic/BAP

You scored 115 aloof, 111 rigid and 120 pragmatic
You scored above the cutoff on all three scales. Clearly, you are either autistic or on the broader autistic phenotype. You probably are not very social, and when you do interact with others, you come off as strange or rude without meaning to. You probably also like things to be familiar and predictable and don't like changes, especially unexpected ones.

'Reading the mind in the eyes' test: 27

AQ test: 35

The Empathizing Quotient (EQ) Test: 25 (and I'm a female aspie too lol)

Extremely sensitive (HSP test)

Your Aspie score: 150 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 64 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

lol expected

BAP: Socially odd (97 aloof, 77 rigid, 89 pragmatic)
AQ test: 36 (probably; I believe I took this test once before and got exactly 36 as well.)
EQ test: Extreme Systemizer (22/40 EQ / SQ 72/75)
EIQ Test: 56% (snapshot report; EIQ of about 102)
HSP Test: 15/27 checkboxes (probably highly sensitive)
Facial expressions test: 26/36 (smack-dab in the middle of the average range)
Faceblind test: 58% (7/12)

Aspiequiz: 122/200 Aspie, 76/200 NT ("Probably an Aspie")

Personal comments on these tests:

I don't believe I have the full-blown Asperger syndrome, and I'm certainly not autistic; however, I feel that I have some sort of anomaly that gives me traits of the Asperger type.
My mom often complains that I will actually over-emphasize my speech instead of speaking in a monotone. I have a feeling that this is some sort of speech disorder that I'm going to have to work at to correct, rather than just me never learning how to talk properly.

For most of the "agree slightly / disagree slightly" tests, there were ulterior reasons behind some of the answers and a few of them I was completely indifferent about.

For the facial expressions test, I found that for a lot of the faces, none of the possible answers looked even remotely correct. Apparently, however, the answers I did pick were on average pretty accurate simply because they seemed the least wrong.

For the face recognition test, I selected "I am not familiar with this person" if I had not seen any pictures of their face. Otherwise, my score would be much lower. I still do recognize people's faces, though, although hairdo is a very important part of it. I don't believe I actually have that much of a face blindness problem.

I got 24 in the highly sensitive person test. But I already knew I'm extra sensitive to loads of things

Broad Autism Phenotype Test: Neurotypical (63% aloof, 70% rigid, 48% pragmatic, 5% on diagnosis, all above peers but below spectrum threshold)

AQ Test: 10

EQ:33 SQ:46
(this baffles me, I thought I was an empathiser)

Emotion Intelligence Test: 81%

Highly Sensitive person: 6 (so not at all sensitive I'm assuming)

Reading the mind in the Eyes: 29/36
(even after seeing the ones I got wrong I still couldn't quite idenitfy the expression as what the correct answer determined)

Pretty much all what I thought, I just thought I'd be a better empathiser as I can read people well.

Scientist, thank you so much for these tests! They steadied me when I was doubting myself about being an Aspie.

Broad Autism Phenotype Questionnaire
You scored 123 aloof, 104 rigid and 91 pragmatic

Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ) test
AQ = 40

Empathizing Quotient and Systemizing Quotient - Revised (EQ SQ-R) tests

SQ = 98

EIQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient) Test
Self-report Component
Subscale IQ score = 73
Subscale percentile = 4

Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) test
HSP = 21

'Reading the mind in the eyes' test
Score = 18

The Cambridge Face Memory test
Your score was 55. The average score is 53.38.
You scored higher than five out of every ten people who took this test.

I had the same reaction! I couldn't believe my empathy score was so low. People have told me I should be a counselor or therapist because I understood what they were talking about so well.

Maybe some of us, lacking instinctive empathy, overcompensate and develop a highly sophisticated observance of people??

1. BAPQ: Rigid & Language

You scored 76 aloof, 84 rigid and 86 pragmatic

2. AQ: 30

3. EQ results: EQ: 34/SQ: 82, Extreme Systemizing

4. EIQ: 61%

5. HSP test: 21, Highly Sensitive Person

6. 'Reading the mind in the eyes' test: 18 - this comes as a real surprise to me, as I believe I'm able to read eyes well.

Your Aspie score: 142 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 54 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie
- I've taken that test like three different times now and gotten different results each time, getting lower or higher, so that's my average. And is anybody else bothered that the numbers don't add up consistently?
