My parents were hippies, and are both weirdos. Does that count? :)

Yes I do, and I get along with them better then I get along with the sheep of society. 8)

Yeah, but it's cool, you know? You can learn a lot from them, they're fun to talk to. Plus I might just be one. Whatever though.

My guess is that the type you feel you are attracting are the ones who put a premium on different people and experiences. I myself would be happy to talk with many of these people. I'm non-comformist by biology, and they're non-conformist by choice. Doesn't that sound more interesting than someone who just parrots mainstream opinion to fit in?

yeah, People would always avoid me as if I was contagious. As if people would catch aspergers if I coughed on them...

Because they make no sense.

End of story.

Hmm, not end of story, I will add that I have a hard enough time making sense of what normal people say half of the time.

No way in hell I have the patience to make sense of what crazy people say on top of this.

It is not their choice to be crazy.

So how are they non-conformist by choice?

I'd bet if they could be considered normal they'd want to be, how do you know otherwise?

One shouldn't assume that these people like being socially rejected or even consider themselves non-conformist.

It's unfortunate then, if they actually would like to conform with society.

But it still isn't my job to friend them.

Also, no, it's not interesting at all. It's been done for so long that being conformist is becoming much more interesting.

Whether or not you find this interesting depends entirely on one's personality. After all, the whole point of "conformity" is to facilitate interaction with others. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that at all; I'm merely saying that there are those who prefer alternatives.

Just don't overlook anyone who may come your way. They may end up being people you want to be around.

This. I tend to make friends with all kinds of eccentrics.

When I'm waiting somewhere like a bus stop, or queue in a supermarket, or in some other place where I'm with random people, I always get ''ordinary'' type of people making small talk with me, but I never get strange people making small talk or even smiling to me.

But that still doesn't make me believe that I must look quite ''ordinary'' if I attract other ''ordinary'' people, because why do I still get girls giggling constantly at me?

Just another mystery about me what needs solving.

I'm not sure what your definition of crazy is. Do you mean violent or eccentric?
