Tend to feel stupid. But know more than others.

I tend to feel stupid around NT's when they are stating things far from my comprehension. Of course I have a broad knowledge about my topic of interest which is film (old and new) but other things tend to throw me off.

To me, there are a couple of different definitions you could use. One would be more a lack of common sense you often see in stuff like funny videos. Another would be incapable of learning anything at all, regardless of what it is. That you can learn so much, even about only one particular subject or another, doesn't say anything about how smart you are, but only speaks for what you might be interested in. Nobody can ever know everything because nobody would ever have the patience to.

Maybe if you actually made a film that incorporates the best of your knowledge, entered it in a film competition, and won an award, people might take you more seriously.

I feel especially stupid an awkward when they tell me about their marriages and relationships and their supposed problems and can offer nothing as I have not been in any kind of relationship.

Other people know more than me or about the same as me.
