What, women can't be sirs? Haven't you seen Battlestar Galactica?

I listen to tons of pop music, just usually not new American pop music. But pop music is like 90% of what I listen to, be it Japanese pop, 80s European stuff, 80s and 90s American stuff, I especially like eurodance and eurobeat. From what I hear, Chinese and other Asian pop still for the most part isn't horrendous and about being a tough guy who has sex with tons of chicks, or a chick who's a whore, so it's not unreasonable for you to listen to it.

As far as the crowds, well, it depends, I have NVLD (nonverbal learning disorder) and it sorta manifests as Aspergers, if that makes sense. That's the easiest way to explain it, I guess. I personally, unless I'm feeling really down or whatever, don't mind crowded places. I usually don't have to engage the people there, and I'll probably never see them again, so it's irrelevant. However, it's more in small groups, or "parties" where it gets odd for me. But, at a fair or carnival or something, I never really feel too bad. Sometimes being around all the people will make me feel lonely, but it won't be anxiety.

Lol, and as far as what most Aspies listen to, from what I get on this board it's like usually darker kind of music, like...black metal or something. I don't like that kinda music much, as life as terrible enough as it is. But, whatever floats their boat I guess.

I hope you found my post helpful.

I can like all types of music. Rock, rap, pop, classical, etc. It just has to be "good". To get an idea of what I mean, let's take rap for example. There are one of two ways that I can find rap "good" 1. It has to have a good solid sound and has to be catchy and fun to listen to i.e Kanye West's "Power". Or 2. It has to have a good story to tell me in it's lyrics backed up by a good beat i.e. Macklemore's "Wings". Those same two rules can be applied to all genres of music, just edited slightly to fit the requirements.

Some of my favorite music of all time is pop though, Michael Jackson, Weezer (they are rock/pop), hell, I can even get into J-Pop (Japanese pop music). I just realized I went on a small spiel, sorry about that

I only like music with a strong melody line, mostly pop from the 60s and 70s and some classical pieces. When I listen to pop, I practically ignore the lyrics and just focus on the melody. I usually have no idea what songs are about, which boggles my wife.
