I was thinking the same thing!
Then again, I've never really focused on my Autism as a bad or good thing, just a part of who I am. Not something to really celebrate :/

Nice. Next year I will be prepared for the day. How do you celebrate it anyway? Maybe I'll go to Disney World wearing my Wrong Planet t-shirt, or perhaps the one that shows an alien with a guide dog.

I really should keep up with the world a bit better than I have of late. Yep; gonna work on that, yes, I, yam ....)

I didn't know about this! It seems a celebration is in order, however large or small! But in the meantime, just a little after midnight, ending my Friday night here in Chicago, I'm off to sleep. And though any other day of the year the color orange doesn't much register in my normal scheme of things, I will gladly wear it when I awake!

Dang! For a while there, I forgot my official diagnosis isn't Asperger syndrome! It's HFA!
My SELF-diagnosis was Asperger's... Does that mean we don't get to celebrate?

Autistic Pride Day is June 18th. When I learned about its existence, I started following the online autistic communities. You'll notice my WrongPlanet join date is June 22nd.
