Uhh......YES!! ! It drives me absolutely up the WALL!! ! It's one of the reasons why I don't like eating at a table with other people or going to restaurants.
I also HATE the sound of people's silverware clicking against their plate or bowl.

I get really disgusted and annoyed with many other sounds too. The main is people biting or picking at their nails. My best friend does this constantly and it just makes me want to smack her sometimes!! She does it while we're watching TV and as hard as I try, I just can't focus on what we're watching as long as she's doing it. It's like I can't make myself listen to anything else except the horrid clicking of her nails and teeth! Of course, SHE finds it annoying that Iconstantly tell her to stop it :p

She compromises by getting the nail file to file them down. She says if she files them down so that they're smooth and even, she won't have the urge to bite them. However, the sound of filing nails also drives me nuts...LOL. I can never win!

I've always hated to eat in company. I can't stand eating noises, the sight of somebody eating, or dinner conversation. I consider eating to be a very undignified and private matter, like all digestive activities.

It's different with animals though. It doesn't bother me at all to watch my cats eating and listen to their happy munching. That's cute and comforting :3

My sister used to do that all the time when we we´re kids and it used to make me mad. Especially that thing with the tv, I know exactly what u talk about. AARRGH! I would ask her to stop again and again and again and then get yelled at for going nuts when she still wouldn´t stop.

I am! I'm get irritated from all kinds of noises easily. If somebody burps, it really makes me go crazy. Also, farting irritates me as well. Let's see what else...popping your knuckles, nails on a blackboard, brushing your teeth, men shaving their face, high pitched loud sounds, children screaming, people popping and clicking their mouth, people biting into ice, people picking their scab....those are just a few things but when they happen I get really irritated and mad. I also hate it when people breathe too loudly or snore.

Oh, I also can't stand loud and/or repetitive coughing even if it's not the person's fault.

yep you would definitely hate me then :)

i burp, fart, eat with my mouth open, crack my knuckles, brush my teeth, pick my scabs, talk loud AND cough repetitively

Crunching on cartilage and bones, like chicken bones.

My fiancee likes to chew the cartilage off the end of rib bones! That noise freaks me out! It makes me feel like my own bones in my body are being chewed on!

I read this and thought, "How do you eat a noise?"

My literal mind is making me stupid.

YES! I'm glad I am not the only one who is bothered greatly by this issue. If it is bad enough, I start feeling nauseous simply by listening to it.. Ugh.

I can't stand the combination of sounds that come with people chewing and breathing. It irritates me to no end, often to the point where I eat my meals alone.

The gulping on commercials is pretty bad, but they usually follow it up with an, "Ahhh!" once they're done, too. That also irritates me. It doesn't help that people VERY RARELY say it in real life. I understand they want us to think their drink is refreshing, but seriously?! If I were so thirsty and just chugged a gatorade, I'd probably have a relaxing exhalation or sigh.

Oh great. Reading that just reminded me of a customer I once had. It was an old guy who smacked his lips almost constantly. Literally, after every sentence he would smack his lips. He often did it in the middle of one, too. He even did it when he wasn't talking at all. It was so hard to be friendly and helpful when I really wanted nothing more than to excuse myself, go to the bathroom, and vomit.
