I'm a lefty (think I've posted that I am one already but anyway)

Forgot to add that I fit all of the description apart from one: I'm not really creative and I'm definitely not artistic.

According to my mom I would always use my left hand, and she more or less trained me into using my right due to how the world is mostly bias and designed toward right handed people.

I guess I would say right handed, but my left is fairly skilled, and sometimes more so than my right hand is. Sort've confusing to think about :P

my description is only based on observations...and i stress that the descriptions were tendencies and not rules......and surely few would have all my descriptions......thanks

I favour my left. This compliments my eccentricity, you say?

I'm mixed-handed.

I write with my right hand, but can do everything else with my left just as well. I CAN write with my left hand, and it's almost exactly like my right.

I ride my horse and the left side of my body is stronger.

My left thumb sits on top but I like to do a lot of stuff with my right. It's really weird.

My dad is mixed-handed too.

I do believe my user name answers this question completely. Of those left handed tests, I am also in the top 5% of most left handedness....
I did substitute teach for a bit and in one high risk kids class of about 7 or so kids, all but 1 was left handed. So there is definitely some kind of connection between being a southpaw and being classified as a problem child/adult

I write, throw and use a fork left handed. I swing a bat, a golf club and a two handed sword right handed. I cut with scissors with my right hand. When communicating in American Sign Language, I am right hand dominant.

And all of those characteristics describe me pretty well.

things i have noticed about left handed people over my lifetime:
-they definitely tend to be more aloof and shy
-they tend to be more of the loner type
-they tend to have high intelligence
-they tend to be much more sensitive and emotional
-they tend to be much more creative and artistic
-they tend to be more eccentric
-they tend to have drier sense of humors

I fit that description very well, and I am left-handed. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I have a list in my head that I can recall whenever I want.

I'm hearing. I work at an agency for Deaf people.

When I learned sign language, I learned right handed because I. Thought people would not be able to read me signing "backwards". What a silly idea.

My 3 yo son is ambidextrous. He uses his right hand to write and his left hand to color, eat, throw a ball and do most everything. I am curious to see if he will learn certain skills with his left hand and certain with his right. He is a cuddle snuggly type of kid.

For what it's worth, my NT boyfriend is a Lefty, and the only trait he has from that list is the creativity. He's extremely creative, but also the most extroverted person I know. He's always the center of attention (and loves it), and makes people laugh with ease.

On the other hand, most of the traits you described match me, but I'm a Righty. There are things that I'm able to do with both hands, but it always requires a lot more concentration with my left hand.

Gee, funny, when I do that my right thumb falls on top. But I am left handed, actually...

Like you, I also have been told that I hold my fork strangely. I sort of grab it. I eat with either hand too, I don´t seem to have a preference.

My left thumb falls on top. If I try to put my right thumb on top, it feels really unnatural. However, as mentioned above, I am right-handed, and cannot, no matter how strong the attempt, write with my left hand.
