My personality is rather hard to explain I am the brooding dark and mysterious type who has his fair share of innerdemons that I am trying to overcome.

There might be something to this. I'm not very detail oriented, however, I do think about my death often.

I am laid back mentally most of the time. Something I cultivated.
Physically, I'm pure caffeine - rerouted energy ends up here.
The word for it is "paradoxical"

I'm extremely laid back to the point of apathy, but if you engage me in a topic of great interest, ill talk your ears off lol. Situations like people arguing or fighting make me nervous and/or freakout prone.

I would say that I do have quite a laid back personality, and have been told by others that I have too. I think my close friends like this about me as I'm usually upbeat when we are out doing social activities, and don't like to cause any kind of drama which I find to be a common NT trait in my experiences. But when I'm around multiple new people then I will be more uptight for sure, and will also be quiet anxious about it. Even with people I know but I'm not overly familiar with I will still feel anxious, so I guess I suffer from social anxiety when in unfamiliar situations.

Most of my life I was laid back, so yes. My agitation came along with my depression, which I've 'only' had for a few years - to this level of severity, anyway.

Actually back in my college days, I was known as "Not given a F*** about Anything" type of person. Apathetic maybe. But I also got "High-strung, Paranoid, & vicious" then as well. From my friends. I tend to swing to extremes. But the later is often because of emotional or sensory overloads. Also, I could bloody hear the idiots who were whispering stuff or talking in lowered voices. I hear EVERYTHING people were saying. A lot of times I di *try* to ignore it. Succeeded some, but I did have a couple of ver bad/scary meltdowns. That only increased the rumormongering of course. Something of a vicious cycle you might say...
Having people scared of you also is not a really easy thing. Nor is being scared of yourself..

Sincerely,
Matthew

My personality and psychological state is strongly influenced by my surroundings and condition. When the paradigm is calm and orderly, I am calm and orderly. When there is great disorder and entropy, my thoughts derail and I cannot think straight to save my life. So yes, I can have a laid-back personality, but only under the correct conditions. I reflect the world around me.

I feel like I have a laid back personality. Just try to take things easy in this cold world.

I tend to be quiet and not super expressive most of the time, which makes me seem laid back. But I've also been described as "intense" when I get excited or worked up about something. Get me started on a topic I'm interested in, and I'll spring to life and dominate the conversation. When I get upset I can have a hard time keeping my emotions in check.

OK, I think I've learnt a lot here then. I don't know why I'm so miserable and snappy all the time. I always have been. When I was a child, all I did was complain at whatever we did, and I was never just happy, only some of the time. I've always been impatient, intolerant of other people's habits, and just moody. My little cousins even picked up on my whiny attitude towards everything. It just seems like I've never been able to relax, I've always been tensed up all the time. Maybe I've got a co-morbid disorder like poor anger management or something then.
