There is a theme, I'm not sure what to call it though. And once I've held any specific interest listed, it has remained "interesting", just not specifically focused upon with fiery intent. For example earlier tonight I had a perfectly interesting entomological conversation for about an hour, while insects have never been a true focus of interest to me, they have been periphery of interest while focused on biology in general and still remain interesting and can hold my attention. I just don't purposefully seek out and consume data about insects etc.
