My day hasn't begun until I run into something.

I'm much better than I used to be but am still extremely clumsy. Heck, one time I had one beer at a sporting event and I was literally having trouble just standing without falling over. Surprised I didn't get thrown out for 'intoxication'. Even at the best of times I have very poor balance and frequently have to hold into walls or rails to avoid falling over.

I thought i would outgrow it, because i was told such. the fact is i sprained my ankle standing still once. I bump into things repeatedly, even if i know they are there, because i cant really tell how close-far i am until contact. half the time i cant tell left from right.

I trip over my feet all the time, i drop things a lot too and im heavy handed so when I "pat" or hug people they usually complain about it.

edit: re reading the thread I realized a lot of ppl mentioned having flat feet. I do TOO! almost no arch. when I was like 5 my mom wanted me to take ballet lessons (to help me loose weight, like i was that fat or something) and the instructor said there was no point my feet are too big and flat. I can use size 10 on women and even men shoes, depending on the style! XD

I'm not particularly clumsy.

<----------------- Super clumsy

Just yesterday I hit my head on the corner of a table at work...

Most days I run into things or trip. I am certainly not coordinated for dancing or sports. I've managed to fall up the stairs, run into doorways, trip on concrete, slam my elbow into desks, walk into walls.... I dunno the list is quite long. I've even hit my head while... (well you can fill in the blanks) XD

I have accidentally injured myself multiple times because of my ridiculous clumsiness. Thankfully, my bones are REALLY strong, so I haven't broken a bone yet. I sprained my ankle by standing up once. I run into something at least twice an hour. It doesn't help that I forget I have legs/arms/a torso, and I'm not just a floating head...

Example; just a few hours ago I sneezed and... well, then I felt into the sharp side of door, rebounded, stubbed my toe and then fell onto a bed.
Does that fit the definition of clumsy? :)

Bumping into doorframes is a skill I've raised into an art form. :?

Some days are worse than others, though; there are some days where I am fine; other days, I bump into things constantly.

I'm the epitome of clumsy. The main problem I have is that I seem to smack my head nearly everywhere.

Here's an interesting story that I have to share: When I was three, I was walking to daycare when being the careless person I was. Smacked right into the side mirror of a car. My forehead was bleeding and needed a few stitches (don't know how many though).

The indent's still there, albeit faded. And I'm beginning to suspect that it, along with my Aspergers, is why I tend to stutter every word, remember things in short bursts and tend to look zoned out most of the time.

I've got problems orienting things around me, so often walk into things, get too close to things, trip over things, slip/slide on things, knock things etc. Usually I can see the thing but can't organise where I am in relation to the object to get around it. e.g. I want to stop to open a door but accidently walk into the door instead of stoping just before the door. Or I open the door, but not wide enough and get caught in the door and then attempt to hold the door open for the other person I am with but unintentionally step to far away from the door to actually be able to open it enough. Chaos.

I always walk into the corners of furniture, knock things over with the back of my hand/arm and I make loud clanging and clinking noises in the kitchen when people are asleep, even though I try to be careful. :(

Well sometimes I drop my water bottle and the odd thing. Once in school (many years ago when I was there) I swung a cricket bat and it went flying lol. It nearly hit people on a bench - it was indoor, and plastic XD And also in school I swung a baseball bat and several times it flew out of my hands. Once it hit the catcher. But he was often a jerk to me, so I don't care lol XD

Lets see;
Fell and busted head on edge of swimming pool, ran and slipped fell into French door and cut my arm from wrist to elbow, ran and fell on patio broke nose, walked into traffic and got hit by a car,ran into barb-wire fence and got cut up,dropped a glass jar of juice on floor cut foot, trip to E.R. for stitches, dropped firewood on toe,got BAD infection, ripped finger open on peach tree limb, needed stitches but didn't go,bit by dogs four or five times ,allergic to wasps, hit my head getting into cars, wake up with mysterious bruises, fall down a lot, there's more but you get the point oh yeah, this is no joke but lightning struck outside the bedroom window and the strike was so close to my bed that it melted my moms pantyhose that she had drying on the footboard of the bed I was sleeping in.Wonder if that explains my mental problems?

It's strange--- on my feet i am clumsy like a millipede with all left feet. But in my car i am quite graceful. On 4the wheels i glide through tight spaces and sail on open roads. Then i get out of my car and stumble on legs.
