I have some strange eating habits and love to mix me up some chocolate cake batter and eat it. I never bake the cakes. My favorite cake batter is Duncan Hinds Super Moist Devils Food cake. I always add melted butter and egg whites. I'd rather eat the batter instead of the cake. :D

Another strange thing I did when I was a kid was mix root beer and milk together and drink it down. I love the combination.

I prefer my Ramen noodles hard and crunchy straight out of the package. I prefer raw cookie dough over cooked cookies. I hate oatmeal and I hate peanut butter but if I mix them together I can eat them. I still don't like it but I can choke it down. I don't like ketchup but if I mix large amounts of pepper with it I actually enjoy eating that on my fries. I've got other eating habits other folks might consider unusual. Feel better?

Everyone picks on NTs, but it seems like NTs treat Aspies better than Aspies treat Aspies because I see too many snarky remarks like this one from Aspies.

No, I think I have usual eating habits. Except, I really love crucnchy things like chips and all of that. I love oatmeal though. Though I can understand how the texture is kind of funny. Oh but I'm vegan too, some people consider that weird.

Ha! I did that too. My siblings thought it was disgusting. I liked it.

Well, I eat only when I feel like it, and I don't care about whether my food would be socially "acceptable" or not. For example, I might get up, but I'm not hungry yet so I don't eat breakfast. I get hungry at around 3 pm and start by eating ice cream. :D Or my first and only meal of the day is at 8 pm, and by then I'm so hungry I eat 3 portions.

Really unhealthy.

I'll happily eat hot pickled peppers right out of the jar. And I'll eat oatmeal raw.

I don't see anything snarky about that remark at all. :?

I can see how this thread is quickly turning into "let's compete to see who can boast that they eat the weirdest foods," but how does that mean it's snarky?

On topic: I don't really eat many weird things now. I used to love mint sauce on pizza. I do not eat pizza any more now, though.

Mint sauce is the best. For anyone who doesn't know, it's a mixture of sugar, vinegar, and finely chopped mint leaves. You're supposed to eat it with lamb, but I always used to put it on my pizza. :D

I used to eat Cheerios with chocolate milk.

I'll also eat cream cheese by itself. Yum!

Yes! I also love cookie dough and brownie batter. I buy the Pillsbury refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough and eat it straight out of the tube. There's something about the texture of batter/dough (maybe the slightly gritty feeling of the sugar plus the moistness) that makes is so much better than that cooked versions.

I am utterly addicted to plum and sweet and sour sauces.

I don't eat ramen noodles with the sauce packet thing. I drain the noodles and then toss them with some plum sauce and pepper. I'll also have falafel in a pita with cheese, spinach and either plum or honey mustard sauce (though I'll eat it with tomatoes, greens and tzasiki too). And whenever I have fries, I'll ask for a sweet & sour sauce packet and dunk them in it. Yum.

First of all, let me tell you that I HATE onions. Even the tiniest speck of an onion I will find it and take it out of my food. Even if it's in tomato sauce or soup I still pick them out.

Has anyone ever had pepperoni and sour cream? Yumm! It's my favorite. One way to eat it is to buy the pepperoni minis and stir them in sour cream then dip town house crackers in it.

I also like to dip chocolate chip cookies in chicken noodle soup. Yeah, I'm weird I know.

That's not so strange. I used to do that too. I think it's called a brown cow.

I used to eat (and sometimes still do) peanut butter and apples. People either think i'm bizzare for eating this or admit they love it too.

One thing I know is strange that I eat is to take a piece of bread, spread a layer of peanut butter on it and add some bacon. People usually look at me like :eew:

Not sure if I have too weird of eating habits, but more weird dislikes. For example, I like tomatoes in salsa or bruschetta, but not plain tomatoes. I prefer several foods more on the plain side and this includes salads which I prefer without added tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and raw onions. I do like salads with sliced carrots, cucumbers and croutons, as well as pickled beets. I always pick out the mushrooms in whatever food happens to include them. I have food intolerances to most dairy except cheese, chocolate milk and yogurt, and ice cream (can not tolerate sour cream and regular milk or full fat cheeses).

I love chocolate and eat it almost every day. 8)

Are we talking about cooked onions or raw onions?

I quite like cooked ones. Raw ones have a nice strong flavour but give me indigestion and bloat (not to mention bad breath). I avoid them.

Off-topic onion story: when I was a little girl I remember being taken to a barbeque where they had not prepared for the fact that I was a vegetarian, and all the hostess came up with on the spur of the moment was wrapping a whole onion in tin foil and roasting it for me. Then she presented it to me with a beaming smile, as though it was something absolutely delicious, and I ought to be looking forward to eating it very much.

I will never forget how much despair I felt when looking at that onion. I mean, first of all, it was hot. Really hot. She didn't give me any cutlery. I was supposed to hold it in my hand, and it was far too hot. Secondly, who wants to eat an onion all on its own, without anything else? Onions are all right to flavour other things, but not all on their own. On their own, they make me feel ill. Just looking at it make me want to throw up. Also, I was really really hungry at the time, and I couldn't believe that was all she was giving me to eat: an onion. So I'm rather traumatised by onions. She seemed to expect me to bite into it as though it was an apple. 8O

I think I tried eating some of it out of politeness, but I couldn't stomach it. I mean, a whole onion. It was horrible.
