"Hey, it's not that bad. You look like you're in pain."

My mother to her 40-something daughter - me: "You used to be such a good girl" and "If you are an anarchist, I am moving back up north."

"Don't frown."

"Don't interrupt."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"You're crazy."

"Stop walking like that."

"You have to wear shoes."

"What are you doing? Stop it."

"Why are you rocking?"

"Yeah, you are a little different (eccentric, weird)."

"Where do you come up with your ideas?"

" I know, eh - I don't know what she's (me) talking about."

"Back up, I can't understand you."

"Why didn't you say something?"

I jump into people's conversations a lot too! One of the most irritating things I do, however, is repeating what people say if I find it amusing. I'll say their name then repeat their sentence. It sounds stupid, even to my own ears, but I can't stop it.

"Beth is always right."
"Don't argue"
"Smile"
"You must be very happy."
"Why are you smiling?"
"What's so funny?"
"It's not funny."
"You're detail orientated."
"I'm not a trivia queen like you are."
"You always find ways to bring up your interests.'
"You turn topics into about your interests."
"You've said some very hurtful things but I just ignore them."
"Where are you from?"
"Are you dense?"
"You're slow."
"You're close to being ret*d."
"Pay attention."
"All you ever talk about is Titanic. Why do you think I am always in our bedroom?"
"You always have to be in control." "You always tell me what to do."
"You're stubborn."
"What's wrong?" "Are you okay?"
"You're cute when you get excited, just like a little kid."
"You're a picky eater."
"It's all or nothing for you."
"People think you are callous."
"You talk about yourself to relate to people."
"That's typical Beth,"
"You speak your mind."

Most of this came from my husband. Some online and some from in high school and strangers and old bosses and one came from my cousin and couple came from my mother.

Well, I've had it pointed out that I'm somewhat physically ungainly and a little socially awkward, have a fairly narrow sense of humor, an obsessive nature, and don't know the appropriate thing to do or say in a given situation, on a side note, I usually do have an inkling that my conduct is offensive, i just generally don't care enough to not do it.

That I monologue (without seemingly drawing breath)
That I swim like a dolphin (because I spin in the water)
That I use my arms/hands a lot when talking
That they can't believe I remembered something from so long ago in such detail
That they can't believe I repeated a long instruction verbatim
That I won't let a subject drop
That I worry too much
That I sit like a cat (lots of positions are comfy)
That I have a military-style walk (very upright)
That I'm clumsy
That I'm gullible
That I'm blunt/tactless/uncaring

"You look like a robot when you play drums; relax" *wasn't nervous...didn't even notice*
"You're random" "What are you talking about!?" "I've never known someone who changes subjects so often" *Get variations of these ALL day*
"You need to work on making eye-contact" *Get this from family members and relatives...irritates me profoundly*
"You're the most obsessive person I've ever met" *Gotten this from various friends*
"You're not feeling the music" "Get in the groove" "Listen for space and improvise to fill it" *Various things pertaining to my emotionless guitar playing*
"Why are your hands ________" *Whatever strange position my hands are in that I hadn't noticed*
"Stop mumbling" *I'll mumble if I like!* Bam. "Speak up" "Slow down"
Strangely, I haven't had very many issues accidentally insulting people with honesty unless I'm very comfortable with them, in which case, I grind their gears.

Hugging me is like hugging a robot
Hugging me, my body goes limp unless I am expecting it
That I don't like being touched without permission
"You have strong obsessions."

I was asked why I didn't hug back all the time so I started putting a lot of pressure when I hug and now I've had people call it a bone crushing hug- same problem with handshakes-I don't know how to modulate the pressure I give so that it's in between limp and bone crushing.

Uh put your arms around them without any pressure? I bet they will say next how come you don't squeeze your arms around them. Same as if you just shake their hand without squeezing it and I bet they will wonder the same thing too.

-Gee you're awfully quiet/Why don't you ever talk?/Are you capable of talking?/Oh, you CAN talk! (I've had a few nicknames in high school and work. "the silent giant" (I'm 6'2") and "silent <name>" at work)
-I used to pull out my hair (nervous habit I guess) for a bit when I was in high school and I had a bald patch that someone pointed out
-I have a mostly expression-less face and I don't show emotions very well
-I also don't laugh out loud when something is a little funny, I just kind of smile when everyone else laughs

I'm sure I'm missing some, those are just the most common.

edit: almost forgot that one time at work. I was sitting in the lunchroom with a few other guys, and everything was quiet. I was inside my head and I thought of something funny that happened the day before and I literally burst out laughing out of nowhere. They all looked at me like I was nuts because I had nothing in front of me that could have possibly made me laugh. One guy asked me what was so funny. I kind of muttered something under my breath and made it more awkward.

These are my "weird" habits that people notice the most:

-They say that my face most of the times looks sad (actually, that is my neutral expression);
-They say that the tone of my voice is too high, and they also say that I talk in a monotonous tone, or that I speak too fast;
-They say that often I smile without a reason (actually, I neither realize I'm doing it);
-They also say that I make weird gestures, or that I make unpredictable moves.
