That's not so strange. I used to do that too. I think it's called a brown cow.
I used to eat (and sometimes still do) peanut butter and apples. People either think i'm bizzare for eating this or admit they love it too.
One thing I know is strange that I eat is to take a piece of bread, spread a layer of peanut butter on it and add some bacon. People usually look at me like

As a kid my mom would make bacon and I would happen to eat toast and peanut butter also. I did like the taste of bacon and peanut butter together as well.

Everyone picks on NTs, but it seems like NTs treat Aspies better than Aspies treat Aspies because I see too many snarky remarks like this one from Aspies.
Sorry. It wasn't supposed to be snarky. I just got the impression that you were feeling kind of alone with your quirky eating habits and that was supposed to be a kind of joking way of saying you weren't the only one.
