In light of the Thanksgiving holiday, perhaps we can take a minute to share words about the things for which we are thankful and that we recognize as being a result of Autistic neuro-a-typicality.

I'll start...

I'm thankful for having a weird brain because it helps me train my dog, and I'm pretty sure he generally beats the pants off everyone else's dog in balls and brains.

I am thankful for my Aspergers because it gives me a brain that is unbiased and an almost all-seeing, allowing me to function on a purely logical basis, factor in all relevant opinions and forgotten influences, and accept anyone and everyone who is different.
That probably makes no sense.

I'm thankful for AS because it led me to all of you crazy (in a good way), enlightening, sometimes frustrating, and always interesting people.

I am thankful that I have found a place where my mind is at ease.
I am thankful for the people that helped me to get here.

I am thankful that I belong here, doing work that fascinates me every day.
