I cut my hair very regularly, once every four years. I cut it to shoulder length, just straight across, nothing fancy, and donate it to locks of love, then let it grow back out again for another four years.

Whatever makes me fit in the most in the culture I'm in I guess.

Always went for a neutral hair style.

Obviously short hair, i mean why would i want long hair as a man ?, not only is it annoying, looks wierd, and takes forever to try dry, I dont see the purpose, it makes showering take longer.

I pride myself with the short hair not as short a military but 1-3cm or so.

I envy women with cute short hair. My hair is too thick for short hair styles.

Why do you think this? I think the opposite - with my long hair, females would not think I am interested in them because I look stereotypically "straight". Most of the girls I see who are openly a couple have short hair, in my city.

i keep my hair at the midpoint between reasonably easy to wash and shoulder-length, IOW less than shoulder length but longer than over the ears.

I have always had long hair. I'd like to have it short but that would require going to a salon and exchanging pleasantries with a hairdresser pretty often and all of that sounds way too uncomfortable for me.

On the other hand, my DD who also has AS recently donated all her hair to Locks of Love and got a pixie cut...not only does she love the way it feels it has actually really increased her self confidence.

I have very thick hair so I cant grow it too long with out it being uncomfortable, besides i like short hair

I have horrible sensory issues when it comes to my hair - I almost always have it tied up.
it's too fine and frizzy to have short because it requires to much styling and I don't have the time (two young children).
I spend loads of money on haircuts and colour and then end up with it tied up anyway (unless I am going out for the evening then I usually make a special effort). I envy women who can wear their hair down and it doesn't seem to annoy them in the least.
