i slept that way last night, and continue to do so frequently.

As an artist I usually spend at least two hours staring at nude bodies every week so I've learned to be pretty comfortable with seeing people in the buff, and as a result, more comfortable in my own skin. I'm also really good at drawing nipples.

There was a nude bicycle ride fundraiser thing here a little while ago, I wanted to go but I was a bit terrified of what would happen if I were to crash!

I prefer to wear clothes, but nudity doesn't bother me.

After bootcamp and being nekkid in front of 29 other women in the communal shower, I realized it was no biggie. A few years ago, an apartment maintenance guy accidentally walked in on me when I was in the shower. I just thought it was funny. My mother told me that she would be livid if that happened to her, and would've reported him. I just didn't care enough, and I didn't see the point in getting a dude in trouble due to an honest mistake.

I have no emotional strings attached to nudity, either being naked or seeing others naked. Asexuality has a lot to do with that.

i hate how america can claim to be a free country and yet act so puritanical about everything, including nudity.

I consider myself a nudist. I only do it where it's allowed, though. If I ever got a criminal record, I'd become pretty much unemployable.

Actually, I connect sexuality and intimacy with nudity at least to a degree so this is one reason why I avoid being naked in the public. I'm not sure I can make the necessary disconnection. I wouldn't rape someone or anything, this is absolutely not about that.

If nudism is looked down upon in the Catholic Church and societies like them, then nudism should be allowed for those on the spectrum since it's common for them to get overstimulated by clothes.

I'm new to this website. I'm an adult male, diagnosed with AS about two years ago.

My "special interest"/obsession is nudism. I spend an average of an hour online daily looking up naturist clubs, pools, opportunities, etc. I can never tell to what extent that's part of my AS, or how much is due to the fact that my wife and I basically have never had a decent sex life. I think that's due to her; she thinks it's due to me.

I would sincerely appreciate some help. Is nudism/naturism a common AS "special interest"? Do people here feel it's immoral? I love going to nude beaches and resorts. It just seems very healthy and natural to me. It has nothing to do with sex and I've never used it to meet people of the opposite sex. My wife knows of my interest, and doesn't forbid it, but she says it's another example of why she finds me creepy. It doesn't seem at all creepy to me.

Anyway, I'd appreciate people's insights. Thanks.

can't say it is specifically an aspie interest, but it is a normal interest of any red-blooded non-saint of a human being. btw i do hope you and your other get counseling, a good marriage is a horrible thing to waste by lacking a good conjugal relationship.

It...doesn't have much of an effect on me. I'm comfortable being nude when I'm alone, and I'm becoming more comfortable around others with each passing moment. I don't tend to be bothered when others are nude, just so long as they don't sit on my furniture.

there's actually a site called "stuffaspergerpeoplelike.com", which compiles a list of 32 things people with aspergers like, and nudity is #31.

I freakin' hate it, it feels way to weird.
