Just curious.

Anything related to animation....I don't really "rant," about it tho (unless I'm involved in a conversation re: how the quality of animated films has been steadily diminishing (except for movies like Wreck-It Ralph, My Little Pony: FiM, and anything from Pixar :D )), and I only start banging on about it if the topic presents itself first.

They are not my special interests but two topics I like to rant about.

Small yappy and twitchy dogs. Makeup, hair dye, and any kind of facial deception/modification on women.

I complain about those a lot...

I want to see women in their natural, evolved state, un modified...most men agree with me on this...I am tired of seeing the makeup they put on themselves because it is so obvious and unnatural, It has completely distorted beauty. Women who pluck their eyebrows or ruin their hair with hair dye or straightening is just unnecessary. Small dogs...oh man don't get me started.

I agree.

I would include yappy small human children as well.

There have been some women whose makeup was so obvious and thick that I thought they were purposely trying to make people laugh by looking ridiculous. I pointed it out to my sister when I saw one and she told me that it's just one of the current styles.

Sometimes I'm very obsessed with grammar, though I myself sometimes make mistakes.

My special interest: TGM bus-drivers
What I rant/worry about special interest: Drivers contracts changing and being replaced by boring unfriendly ones, which is a bummer when there used to be extra friendly ones on it. I also worry about my favourite bus service being changed to another company. It's depressing when you can't even rely on your special interest these days.

What I rant about generally: Having AS, having NT cousins around me, people making a noise, people coming round my house at random times, clingy people, the cold (snowy) weather, viruses like colds flu's and noroviruses, strangers waiting at my bus stop, people staring at me in public, people getting themselves involved in sudden relationships then whining when it all goes wrong, my wireless internet when it disconnects, my computer when it goes wrong out of the blue, having to get up early for work, having a brother, people leaving doors open, kids playing outside my gate, unfair social standards, people smoking, people thinking getting drunk is a must, women in clothes shops, kids between birth and 4 years screaming and shouting in public, buses being late when it's freezing cold, the obligation and pressure to conform, obnoxious teenagers showing off in public, people that think intimidating others is fun, some TV programmes, people that think I am too stupid to be emotionally hurt, being the only young person in my life that doesn't go out on week-end evenings, being convinced that Aspies have physical differences, the list goes on.

Bullying, public education, politics, religion. You know, all the things that make a person popular and are right for general conversation. LOL  :? 8O

Bunkers (as if everyone here doesn't already know this). The Swiss have this down to a science...

My three favourite things to rant about:
Me, myself, and I!

Seriously, it's a great old ditty by the guys from De La Soul, which you can analyse to death, lyrically.

Nah, I'm kidding. It IS a great song, but I tend to 'rant' about things like linguistics... aaand that's pretty much it. I'll go on and on about the specifics of language. I do it everywhere, offline as well as online. In recent years, I've tried to avoid actual full-blown rants, and for the most parts it's worked out, but sometimes I'll enter rant mode, especially when I think the person I'm talking to is interested.

Beside linguistics, I'll go on and on about pop music and anime. Yeah, I know, pretty shallow stuff, but that's how I roll.

I rant about gender equality a lot, politics, and my (negative) feelings on the religious institution whose doctrine my mother follows. Also grammar when I know people aren't going to make fun of me.

Not my special interests but I enjoy ranting about disgustomers (rude, terrible customers), double standards, and just humans in general.

I think the Albanians supersede the Swiss in this area. Sorry/glad if I just provided another obsession point.
Personally I start at elementary particle physics, move onto astrophysics/cosmology. Then I go into philosophy/religion and politics/economics (sciences of greed), to finally arrive at human/non-human psychology/biology.
Intelligent people salivate at the prospect of engaging me in a conversation, while mundies tend to fear me outright as if I'm simply going to collapse their whole f*&%ing world in a single sentence. Good thing I'm the athletic type and am able to maintain an intimidating posture for the benefit of personal amusement when f*&%ing with their heads (btw, I do that in order to educate people, not to make them feel inferior. Idiots will remain idiots never the less).

I would have to say that some of my favorite things to talk about are actually Aspergers and Photography. I could talk about those two things all day if anyone was interested enough to listen!

I like to rant about how I'm not passionate about my special interests anymore (if they even count as special interests anymore), how I wish I could have new special interests, how hard it is to find new special interests, and how I wish I could still be a child.
