In almost all the people i suspect of being on the spectrum, including me,I've noticed something called eyelid papilloma. It is highly unlikely there could be a link between autism/communication disorder and this skin mark, but, if the suspected persons are really autistic, then the overlapping between the two is striking. Thus I'd made poll to find out if my observations can lead to any conclusion or my assumptions were wrong from the very beginning.

I had one removed from the centre of my lid about 10 years ago.

According to this: http://www.willseye.org/health-library/eyelid-papilloma

it's very common in the general population. I've had these, one as a child, which I twisted until it fell off and smaller ones along the edge of my eyelids as an adult.

I never have. But i'm a hygiene freak like Sheldon. It could be that many people on the spectrum have bad hygiene, or don't use skin care products, and this could create problems with viral growth.
