I hate hearing foam rubbing up against foam Like in packaging. I get this strange sensation and it gives me chills. Ugh. Just wanted to vent. Everyone else thinks im a weirdo for that one.

Or how about standing near the train tracks as a train comes to a long, grinding spark-spewing halt. Gah!

What about the sound of a clipper nearing your neck for a buzz cut? Just the sound sends shivers down my spine.

None of those sounds have ever bothered me... BUT if you were to rub your hands back and forth on a piece of construction paper it would drive me absolutely crazy.

Just thinking about it gives me chills...

The sound of a dentist's drill makes my toes curl and my spine stiffen.

There we go with the apples being peeled again! Isn't that an inaudible sound?

I think all the violin playing has caused me to be immune against this specific one.

It's loud and horrible to me. Maybe it's because my mother likes to peel fuji apples, and fuji apples make the loudest peeling sounds.

I misread that as "the sound of autistics being peeled with a knife!".

I can tolerate the foam sound but my brother hates it.
I hate the sound of dishes clanking against each other when they're being washed.

I thought that that foam noise was everyone's least favorate noise (and the chalk on the chalkboard). I find it unbearable, too. I don't know how describe how it makes me feel. It's just horrible.

I listen to a lot of classical music - symphonies, concertos, etc. I love piano concertos, harpsichord concertos, etc. When it comes to violin concertos I get nervous. In the hands of someone like Gil Shaham, Anne Sophie-Mutter, Jessica Hahn, Jashca Heifetz, Joshua Bell, etc the violin is a sublime instrument to hear. In the hands of a lesser player? All those high-pitched squeaks across the strings makes the hair on my neck stand up.
