I seem to be the only one who gets annoyed at these things:

- When a website makes a huge deal about a photo they're going to show you, raising your curiosity to high levels, only for you to click the link and find a red cross instead of a photo - posted long ago, and no later mention of the issue or apology.

- When you complain of being isolated and you're given the advice to request the feedback of "someone you trust, a friend, a relative". If you had someone so close and insightful and interested in helping you, you wouldn't be complaining of isolation to start with!

I hear you on the second point there!

In my world I get the 'Just go out and meet people' line. Ummm if it was that easy for me I'd have done it already.

Yes I can meet people but finding someone you can relate to or form a relationship with is a completely different matter and what's more is you often have to go through hours of socialising and IQ reducing chit chat to do it. It is kind of like being tortured.

It also resembles having had a lobotomy by the time you get home after 5 hours or so of it.

I know. They seem silly, don't they? Here are some I've clipped from a site about dealing with loneliness.

If you are experiencing an abusive situation, tell someone you trust.
Phone that person you have been putting off for ages.
Invite a new person over for dinner.
Go, when you are asked to a party.
Find groups of people where you hold a common interest.
Be open to others' opinions and views.

- People who are too complacent to heed my warnings about their children's impending criminal behavior; and who then (after their child has been arrested for the crime) either interrogate me to determine their child's motives, blame me for inciting the behavior, or blame me for not warning them strongly enough.

- Women who engage in man-bashing whenever they can, and who then go on a verbal rampage against any man who would report them to someone who should do something about misandrous harassment.

- People who should do something about misandrous harassment, but whose only response to complaints about misandrous harassment is "forget about it".

- Smokers who really don't care about anyone else's health, safety, and comfort; especially those who have asthma or other respiratory conditions.

- Alpha males who openly question the masculinity of any man who would disagree with them; especially when the alphas are wrong and those who would disagree with them are right.

Air fresheners, perfumes, and scented candles.

I'm choking to death and everyone else seems to think they smell nice.

I really hate when everyone else is in the mood to go out or go to a party for the sake of going out when I want to stay in, and everyone thinks I am the stuck in the mud.

Oh how I sooooo relate to this one... or cleaning products... or scented candles.

Repeated clearing of throat

squeaking shoes on the floor

Being splashed

Smokers who do not consider others (someone said that I think) also if they smoke while pregnant or a child in the car.. makes me ++ irritated

People who feed their children blue food coloring in drinks and candy

People who give their kids drinks and food with aspartame

Probably too many more to list...

Definitely this.

And chewing gum. I hate the smell of it, I hate the thought of it, and I especially hate when I come into contact with someone else's that they are too inconsiderate to properly dispose of. In fact, that last on is almost enough to warrant a shower.

The echoing noises of the indoor swimming pool at my gym. I love to swim, but I just can't handle the auditory overwhelm.

People that are condescending and talk down to me
People that say one thing and do another
People that I do not hang out with and just talk to on the radio-they say "my friend" or "buddy" or "big guy" I hate that -you are just a person I talked to on the radio-we do not hang out together all the time-we havent been through thick and thick together
People that eat while talking to you
People that whisper for no reason
countless more things that I wont list

People that use the word literally, metaphorically. e.g. (I was so scared I literally jumped out of my pants and flew to my bed!)

Cats. I hate cats.

People that use the word blonde in a derogatory way. e.g. (I hate dealing with customers, nothing but tools and their blonde girlfriends) (Stupid blonde bimbos)

People that feel the need to insult others they have never met.

Obese people eating unhealthy right in front of me.

The feeling of wind.

People talking excessively.

People that are mean to employees at a store or restaurant.

When girls' buns bob around as they talk.

Children who run around in public places that isn't a playground and their parents that let them.

The fact that it seems to be socially acceptable for a girl to treat their boyfriend like crap, but if it were the other way around he'd be terrible.

People of my ethnicity and biological gender who work in service occupations who greet me "How's it going Boss?" It reeks of a phony subservient attitude and I hope the hipsters are successful at bringing back the early 1960s context of a descriptive for that word

-- TV shows/commercials/movies where the cameras bob and weave and sway for no reason. A lot of TV shows I find unwatchable because of this (The Office, etc.), and nearly every commercial. Not that I'd want to watch the commercials anyway, which brings me to number two.
-- Super Bowl commercials. Who cares?
-- Signs that pop up on the corners of the TV screen, sometimes covering up subtitles -- to tell me what show I'm watching or what show is coming up next. And other graphics that flash or spin to alert me to stuff I don't give a sh*t about.
-- Ubiquitous buzzwords that have taken over the popular media vocabulary, like "solutions," "journey," "reach out," "closure," "experience," "brand," "destination," "partner" (as a verb), "parent" (as a verb), "pre-owned vehicle," "gently used" etc.
--Bright headlights. On high beam. Die, Sylvania, die.

A lot of people talking at once, especially early in the morning when I'm still trying to wake up and find the thought of talking myself too overwhelming to contemplate.

Smokers and sweaty people who sit next to me on the bus and invariably reek horribly (happens pretty much every Friday).

Screeching hydraulic brakes and passing traffic in general.

Loud, obnoxious explosive laughter or sneezing.

People who think it's fun to scare me because I startle so easily, and then tease me for it.

Cold weather.

People who think they can get away with being rude and aggressive on online message boards because they think what they say doesn't matter if others can't see them.

Noisy restaurants/karaoke bars/mariachi bands

Babies and young children crying, whining or screaming, especially in quiet places like libraries.

Babies and young children.

Can't really think of any more but there are undoubtedly a lot of them.

That commercial for Quietus that played the buzzing noise on the TV or Radio. Most people shrugged it off but I was scrambling for the mute button or volume.
