NT average 82 and Cutoff 67 (something)......strange.
Something is illogical or not quite right.

NT average is something like 21 (in the study about the test). The "NT" average reported by the site is of the people who even bothered to do the test, many of whom actually have ASD or at least similar symptoms.

Edit: Hmm, that's higher than the recorded score in the study. Guess it adds further proof to the diagnosis.
Edit2: I did take into account the scoring reversal for 16 asterisk-marked questions as well as triple check my answers. Wasn't expecting to score that high.

I took this test several months ago and scored 186. (I got an ASD Dx just under a month ago)

While I appreciate the unique feature of offering the 'true when I was younger' vs 'true now' options, there were a number of statements where I feel a "true sometimes" option would have been the most appropriate response for me. Overall the RAADS-R is another good self-report instrument, and its always interesting to see how my scores compare to the diagnostic cut-offs suggested by the researchers. A similarly long one (65 questions) that is pretty good is the SRS-2, but when it comes to brevity it is hard to compete with the AQ.

Judging by the statistical analysis of the groups I'd say it matches well how I see myself compared to what other ASDs report. Language and sensory issues are above normal but not to the level of most. Interests is about the same level, while I have severe relating issues.

I scored this and I was very surprised because I've never been diagnosed and no one thinks I can be an Asperger's.

ETA: I did find a couple of the questions confusing and/or contradictory. " I am very sensitive to the way clothes feel when I touch them. How they feel is more important than how they look." Yes, I am very sensitive to the way clothes feel, but whether that is more important than how they look is something else, and depends on what the circumstances are in which I would have to wear said clothes, so those two statements are two different things to me, and should be two separate questions. Same with: " I always notice how food feels in my mouth. This is more important than how it tastes." Yes, I always notice; no, sometimes it is not more important than taste.

And the clumsiness question -- " I have been told that I am clumsy or uncoordinated." Well, if I want to get technical here, technically I don't recall ever being told that I am clumsy or uncoordinated, but I know that I am! I don't need to be told this, when hardly a day goes by that I don't bump into a doorframe I can see coming, or drop something I'm holding!

Is there a cut off for autism severity levels? I got 209 but I am officially diagnosed autism not AS (I live in the UK).
