Reading -- I read everything, including all of the packaging if I buy or use a product. I have hundreds of books and am constantly buying more and my library cards are always full. I work in a library and love ordering new books and cataloguing and classifying them. I buy magazines even though I'm months behind on reading them. I read a lot of fiction (particularly epic fantasy, historical fiction, young adult fiction, and comics), but I read non-fiction too because I love learning. I read about my other interests, and I tend to get really interested in a topic and read everything I can about it (at the moment it's Asperger's).
Animals -- particularly cats, but I love all animals, including insects and arachnids.
Words -- etymology, grammar, languages (I have studied French, German, some Spanish, and biblical Hebrew, but I prefer reading and listening to foreign languages rather than speaking them), word puzzles, puns, etc.. This probably ties in with my love of reading.
Religion -- I love medieval churches, religious art and iconography, saints, religious history, and liturgy. I am mostly interested in Christianity, but I also like Judaism and I like learning about other religions.
History - Particularly late medieval and early modern Europe and Victorian-era England, but in the past I have also been insterested in nineteenth and twentieth century America, and I also like early medieval Europe and the ancient Near East. I am primarily interested in social and cultural history and in kings and queens.
I also love trivia, television, films, and games (video games and board games).
In the past, I have also been obsessed with everything British, bands (especially U2 for several years), and certain people. ![Embarassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)
