Yeah. My handwriting was atrocious when I was a kid. It's pretty neat now, though.

I'd say so. I was about nine years old when I finally "got it."

I still haven't quite gotten the hang of tying a necktie--it always looks...not quite right.

Couldn't tie my laces, school tie, never put my feet into my shoes properly always flatten the heels would get into trouble but kept doing it.

I had the same problem regarding breaking down the backs of my shoes--I'd slide my feet out of them and step on the back of the shoe, crushing the internal support. I still have a hard time keeping shoes on my feet. Oh, and sitting properly; I'm always in odd seating positions. That may be a topic for another thread, though.

There are two ways of tying shoelaces.

I can tie them one of the ways, but not the other.

I was nine years old before I learned to tie them that first way.

I totally sit in odd seating positions. Though I think a lot had to do with my parents. I always sit on my feet/knees when eating, so I'm always raised up a bit higher. I don't do that much any more, but I did it all the time as a kid. Sometimes I'll put my feet up like L from Death Note, other times I'll be laying/sitting in a random assortment of different positions.

i still do... I usually just leave mine in a double knot and slip them on and off because I'm so slow at it. I'm too ashamed to tie them in public :P

I couldn't tie my shoes until I was almost in middle school! Then, when I started Boy Scouts, knot-tying was the hardest part for me.
