The sound of screeching tires or subway brakes... ugh... I have to keep my earphones tight in my ears or wear earplugs when outside, otherwise I keep plugging my ears with my fingers every second while out on the street! I also hate the phone ringer, but it's tolerable unlike the above sound. Also, the sound of crying babies is nearly intolerable.

The vaccuum cleaner and screaming. I despise screaming.

Metal clanging, high pitched or screeching noises, certain power tools, ambulances and fire trucks (they do a great service but do the sirens really have to be that loud?)
Sounds I like are silence, (try to work that one out), my own music especially movie soundtracks, and oddly enough the hairdryer or fan heater, because the heat that is radiated soothes me. I have associated the sound to the heat so any time I hear anything like that sound it soothes me.

Doorbells. Even when they're on TV.

The sound of a doorbell makes me feel like someone just tasered me in the neck. :shaking:

Train horns, motorcycles in groups, the sound of a fork against teeth or a plate, metal scraping metal, dogs barking, children screaming, crows cawing at me, yeah I also hate the sound of vacuuming.

Booming, bassy stereos, shrieking children in the store, the sound of a fork scraping against a plate, high pitched beeping like on microwaves or stove timers, the beeping of trucks when they have to back up, flushing toilets (makes me jump right out of my skin) firecrackers (the small ones) and really loud thunder.

Blowing horns and mouth noises like people that make a "tisk" or click sound for dramatic pause or people that do a dramatic whisper for no reason. I hate it when peopke talk and it sounds like they need to blow their nose or clear their throat when the talk.

People whispering, people talking so loud that they're practically screaming, nails on a chalkboard, any song by Kelly Clarkson, any song by Rod Stewart, any rap song, the accents of people who live in the Northeast part of the USA...I wouldn't last very long in a group of Northerners, any song by Beyoncé, Barack Obama's voice....shall I go on?

Squeaky toys. The high pitched ones. The duck sounding ones are ok.

Hand dryers in bathrooms. And leaking air hoses.

Whatever that sound is when you rip a fuzz ball off of a blanket or towel. Does anyone know what I mean by this?
