Traditional psychology works on NTs because their brain(neurologically speaking) are all the same, and psychology works changing the "software" or the relationship between the software and the hardware . Their computers are all the same. But our computer differs from NT's.
This doesn't make sense to me. Are NT's non-autistic? Or are NT's not adhd, bipolar, depressed, anxiety, autistic, dyslexic, etc?

First thing we have to ask ourselves is, what is the purpose of a psychological treatment? To fix someones mind to a "normal" or balanced state?
NTs can also have issues with bipolarity/depression/anxiety. But they can be reversed using traditional psychological treatments, and I don´t believe they work on an aspergers minds, due to much deeper differences.

What do you believe works/helps?

I believe that the current treatments can only relief our symptoms. On NTs depression/anxiety and other symptoms are always acute. But in an aspergers minds their more like chronic.

I believe that your therapist acted only like a pill, but they cant fix the source of our symptoms simply because we just dont know much still about our brain, in both hardware and psychological terms.
Some times that is all that is needed.

You realize you didn't exactly answer how aspergers was seperate from all other mental disorders. Yes you said that it had a neurological basis, but you also tried to say that Nt's mental disorders did not. That is very wrong and well known that that is an ignorant view.

The difference that Nt's have with depression does not make any since because autistic brains are just pretty much just as different as other people with mental disorders.

I believe all chronical mental disorders have a neurological base, including asperger.

When NTs have similar symptoms as we do, their mostly acute. Maybe their passing thru a hard time in their lives or something like that.
Aspergers source of similar symptoms are due to a rough relationship between the external world and neurological differences.

But this is what I just believe, i dont have any scientific data or something.

Personally, I believe that psychological help can be very effective at helping with some of the difficulties that are a result (directly or indirectly) of your treatment at the hands of others. A therapist can help with PTSD, some aspects of social anxiety, some of the difficulties in relating to others, etc.

I don't think they can "cure" these problems, but they may be able to help reduce their impact on your life or to manage them in a less harmful (mentally) way.

That is assuming you have an professional who wants to help and not just be your (prescription) drug dealer. Medication can be helpful, but it has to be very carefully weighed in each individual person. If you go for some help and get a prescription for Xanax after a single 30 minute session, you should probably look elsewhere.

I assume by chronical you mean chronic? Most probably do, which was what i was trying to point out.

What do you mean by Nt's symtoms are mostly more acute?

I don't understand how your last sentence is different for if someone were to have adhd, bipolar, depression, etc.

Very true, espicially the last part. If you have tried many things and know that medication could be beneficial for you be weary depending on how willing they are to give medication. Medication can be very helpful, but it should be used after other avenues of help have been tried. If the doctor is very willing to give medication they will probably keep trying to give different ones if it doesn't work, instead of figuring out why it didn't work.

Yeah chronic, sorry english isn´t my first language, and I don´t use quite right some terms.
Acute its the opposite of chronic.

Imo its different, i.e. depression can be caused by an external thing related to the psychological state of a person, but it can be related to someones brains chemical system not working properly, in the last case psychotherapy won´t work. Aspergers fits the last case. Don´t know if Im making me clear enough.
