Does anyone on WP have problems with the support worker arriving late? I'm not sure if they are discriminating against me personally because I have ASD or because they are generally piss poor at time keeping but if this happened regularly in any other job they would be getting their P45.. it causes me distress.

I think it happens a lot. Support workers are often poorly paid and the job isn't particularly desirable. So it's easy for them to get away with being late, even canceling randomly.

Callista is correct, this does happen a lot. If you are in England ask for a personal budget or direct payment. You then employ your own support workers and you can get rid of them if they do not provide the service you agreed. Or you can arrange the service direct from the agency with a direct payment which gives you the control.

I'm not sure about your situation however I think anything funded by goverment is usually understaffed and overbooked.
