Mine is almost full-on sarcasm and snarkiness.

I'm a mix of sarcastic, dry and goofy. Makes a weird mix, I know. I am great at producing sarcasm, but I am not very good at catching it...

A perfect example of something I would say to just about anyone:

Friend: Where do all these Asian kids keep coming from?
Me: I'm going to assume from Asian parents.
Friend: :?

Yes, I am aware my friend was being a tad bit racist, though in context it wasn't mean in a derogatory way.

My sense of humor leans towards funny turns of phrase puns and witticisms, along with a heavy dose of sarcasm. I tease people too, but I make sure that I do it in a good-natured way so that no one thinks I'm serious and gets their feelings hurt. That takes some practice because some people will take offense no matter how innocent the comment is. And I'm really good at remembering bits of stand-up comedians, and I liberally pepper my conversations with them -- yes, I give credit to comics where appropriate. I'm not good at telling traditional jokes, unless they're short and to the point, such as the Q&A jokes. I'm useless when it comes story-type jokes that go on and on, with accents and props and so on.

I find all kinds of things funny, from plays on words to madcap like Monty Python. And I usually catch sarcasm. Usually.
Though I felt sorry for the girl on our third grade trip to Sea World when the dolphin trainer told her the smell of the fish she was allowed to feed the dolphin would nevercome off.

I have almost all kinds of humour. Sometimes certain kinds of banter annoys me, not so much when I'm involved, but when I hear others doing it to each other. But some banter types of humour does make me laugh.

I am nowhere near a prude. In fact I can't stand prudes. I love those sexual double entredre. Me and my boyfriend do that a lot. Like once when he asked me if I knew of a bus-driver he was talking about, and I said, ''I have had him on the bus before'', and he looked at me and grinned and said, ''I hope not!!'' I knew it was a double entredre, which made me laugh.

Also I love it when people imitate a situation what happens in your imagination but not in real life. I feel it's really a social bond between me and another person. Like last month when we were going to get a hurricane, I said to my friend (who lives a bus ride away from me), ''I was going to wash my coat and hang it out to dry tomorrow, but I wouldn't recommend it now we've got a hurricane coming'', and my friend laughed and said, ''you'd best not to hang your coat out tomorrow, it will probably end up at my house!'' Then, laughing, she pretended to pick up an invisible ''phone'' and put it to her ear and said, ''Jo, I have your coat here, you can come and pick it up next week!'' That made me laugh. I love that kind of humour.

I do hate that teenage humour. Like I remember when I was aged around 13-15, girls at school used to shout out things to boys like, ''Sarah is now pregnant with your baby!'' or, ''Jack has a face like s**t!'' It never made me laugh. And I know that if I had shouted that out suddenly to a boy in the class, they would most probably take me seriously and hate me.

Ummm...the thing that makes me laugh the most is very odd for a 52 year old woman. I mess music up in sound editing programs (change pitch, speed, add echo, etc). When the other women at work laugh at "normal" things, I find it all very lame and simple. Yet what I find funny really IS immature!

Hehehe....I like this ^^^.

Someone mentioned Monty Python. How could I have forgotten that?!?! Python is one of my criteria for making friends. If someone doesn't think Monty Python is funny, they're not going to get who I am. I don't know why that is, but it's a pretty reliable gauge. As far as that goes, British humor -- or rather British humour (heheh) as a whole makes me laugh. Monty Python, Benny Hill, and a whole slew of Britcoms -- Blackadder, Red Dwarf, Absolutely Fabulous, Father Ted, Little Britain, Fawlty Towers -- will make me laugh until my stomach hurts. There's something about the mix of impeccable manners and accent with insanity and absurdity that just rocks my world. :)

Mixture of the above. I appreciate many kinds of humour, though ironic, irreverent humour appeals to me most. I can be quite sarcastic and self-deprecating sometimes. In terms of what makes me laugh as opposed to what I say to make others laugh, I especially enjoy political satire. The comedy series Brass Eye and the film Four Lions are good examples of the kind of things that make me laugh.

I inherited my sarcastic and dry sense of humor from my mother's side of the family (in fact, although we may have our differences, this sense of humor is probably the one thing we most have in common). I tend to make wisecracks about everything. My smile almost always looks like more of a smirk. I'm also very enthusiastic when I'm making jokes or declarative statements and observations- lots of big hand gestures.
