I'd have a nice country life with a wonderful partner.

I would work during the day in an academic profession (academia was the love of my life and I am still trying to find a way to get funding so that I can resume my studies) probably in the field of Archaeology, Anthropology or Palaeontology. I'd indulge my arts and crafts at night and I'd have pets in the form of a cat, a dog, a rabbit and a horse.

(I used to have my own pony when I was growing up).

I'd still go to the gym to do my weight lifting and swim.

I would also take holidays hiking around the UK coast (I want to see as much of the coast in the UK as I can and take photographs) and at Blackpool regularly (I like roller coasters as long as the park is not too crowded so I try to go off peak). Pontins is my favourite place to stay there, or it used to be. I have not been there in a while.

I'd also like to go sailing to see if I can spot any sharks. I'd like to try diving as well but maybe not with great whites or makos or other sharks that bite. Maybe a with a gentle fella like the basking shark or perhaps just a dolphin.

I'd also like to take up fossil collecting.

Oh and I'd learn to drive and get a little purple Volkswagon Beetle because it reminds of Herbie and I used to watch those films when I was growing up!

Sounds great! As for resuming your studies, I have a suggestion. It won't count toward a degree but you'll learn the information. MIT has all their courses for absolutely free and online. They have a lot more than computer science and math too. If you Google MIT Opencourse you'll find the listings. It's for real and absolutely free. That might be an interesting thing to get into right now for you.

If I could live any life I wanted, I would live my life as a starship Captain.

Commander SpockCat understands your desire!

As for free college classes, if you go to iTunes, all of the Ivy League and most other colleges put up many classes with videos, ect. I've learned way more from iTunes than I did from my actual college experience. I'm not sure the fancy colleges are the ones that have the best classes though.

In a remote house (w/ electricity and internet) by myself somewhere in one of the less populated states/provinces, living off what I have until it runs out, at which point I just end it.

I would live my life as an NT. I might have been misdiagnosed, so I have a bit of hope.

I would have a lapidary and jeweler's lab in my house and run my business out of my house. I would also have 2 dogs (I like whippets).

In all honesty, I wouldn't be working, but learning. I would learn about everything, from the basics of science, biology, and ecology, to the history of civilization. I would teach myself every language that fascinated me. I would walk every day. I would watch all of the movies on my wish list. I would dress however I wanted (or go nude on hot Summer days!). I would rock in public. I would sing as loud as I wanted, also in public.

But my biggest dream is to someday retire to a farm in the middle of nowhere, become semi-self sufficient, and rescue battery hens and other farm animals. Living a priveleged life, all I've ever wanted to do is improve the lives of the less fortunate. If I were to volunteer at a shelter, I may help a few dozen people. However, if I rescued chickens, I could save thousands of lives. That is my dream.

I'd be working in a job where I could use my ability and interest in Japanese and interest in science to the fullest. May or may not live in Japan, since I don't mind being here too much. I'd like to get a PhD one day as well, and with all the money earned from research I'd buy a nice car, and get a nice house and live with a boyfriend/husband and some dogs. No kids though, because I'm so unfit to be a mother and don't particularly want to. I'd also take advantage of future technologies, and get upgraded since being an immortal cyborg is one of my dreams.

Ooh! I love whippets! (and italian greyhounds). When I grew up we always had whippets as pets and they were the most gentle and loving dogs you could ever wish to own!

Unfortunately my Autistic son is too rough when he cuddles and plays with dogs, so it would be unfair on a whippet to expose it to that kind of manhandling :(

I'd like to be able to bend all four elements like the Avatar in The Last Airbender and Korra series! :D But of course without all the responsabilities that come with being the Avatar.
I'd also like to have a lot of money and a large lot where I could breed horses and other animals.
I'd also like to have a gigantic statue of mine in every square of the world after my death.
There are many other things I'd like to happen in my life but these are the ones I like the most.

WitchsCat,

What decade of retro furniture? I'm into retro and vintage too. We could start a thread for it if you want.

I like anything from the 70s and 80s. I don't own any of said furniture, but I brought that up because I always imagined myself owning unique furniture from the 70s and 80s.

I'll roll with me.

Which seems to be a terrible life if you listen to...most people, but I think it's fine.

Graham...yes they are very sweet and comical. I like greyhounds and Italian greyhounds too but the whippet is my favorite. I also like poodles (no pompoms!) and shelties.
