I believe I'm O+. I did a home blood type test and it said I was. However, I do plan on confirming these results with a professional test from the doctor sometime this year.

Both of my grandmothers have Rh- blood.

Paternal grandmother, cousin and one particular aunt: O-
Paternal grandfather: Obviously Rh+ since my dad is O+. I'm assuming maybe A or B since his parents came from Eastern Europe, but definitely not AB.
Maternal grandmother: Don't know, but could possibly have AB, A, or B- blood.
Maternal grandfather: O+ (Both my mom and one of her triplet sisters (auntie) claimed to have inherited his blood type)

Also, one of my dad's first cousins on his mother side once told me she was A+. So, maybe both of my great aunts on his side of the family were either A or O. It's also possible that my grandmother was the family donor. :)

I finally got a referral from my endocrinologist back in September to get a professional blood type test. I couldn't get one from my primary clinic because they don't do those so I'm guessing you can always get one from a specialty doctor here in MD. Anyway, back in May, I said I did a home blood type test by Dr. D'Adamo almost two summers ago and it said I was O+. Well, after I got a referral from my endocrinologist, I went to this same hospital and got a professional test and sure enough I'm O+. So, I inherited my dad's blood type. My mom also said she was O, but I'm a little unsure in regards to her being that my maternal grandmother is also rh- (don't think she's O-). Still, even if my mother wasn't O+, she could've still passed on the allele to me being that her father is O+. Anyway, I'm also glad I know for certain after about a year and a half. I definitely got some clarity on this. :)
