I originally published this article in Spectrums Magazine's Fall/2013 issue. I consider it my finest writing and I've put it up on my blog. It's deeply personal but something that I felt that I had to share. Any feedback is welcome.

What type of feedback are you looking for? Are you hoping to receive constructive criticism, or are you just seeking general opinions?

In any case, this is indeed a very touching article with a very touching message. I absolutely love the lines "My advice is to never let pride or shame keep you from seeking the help you need; you?ll be surprised at how much your people really love you if you let them" and " A full, rich life is within reach if you trust yourself to live it." Thank you for sharing this with us.

I'm always seeking honest opinions and criticism.
