I would like to buy a weighted vest from a UK online shop. One of those vest-like things that apply deep pressure. I've been having multiple meltdowns a day recently despite increased meds and I'm quite desperate for something to help.

Where can I buy one online? (I live in London suburbs)

It appears that Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_nos ... ghted+vest has several.

^bought the original version of the southpaw deep pressure bear hug vest from them many years ago and its still going strong now, also have bought other stuff from them including a swing and chair so can vouch for them.

^have got a ultra heavy weighted lap pad and weighted blanket from them via the SS LD team OT,so can vouch for them as well.

however,it sounds like very little will help and its just masking whatever has triggered the current crisis whether autism,MH or otherwise.
perhaps its to do with the move to independant living/own flat,or stress from university,or a combination of many things.

I've never had a vest, but I have a weighted blanket that works wonders for me! If you are interested, PM me and I can get you the info for where I ordered it.

Thanks.

I'm seeing my psychiatrist on Tuesday so I'll discuss the stress with her.
